Hmmmm... Our file was touched last on the 23rd and nothing since. I was thinking it was the holiday, however, your file has been touched within the last couple of days ... arghhhh to worry or not?

Also touched yesterday, hope it is not RFE or something.. Will wait till next week.. :wacko:

Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

Contacted congressman's office with inquiry to expedite AP: January 12th 2011

EAD received: not sure, I was overseas, but I know it arrived between January 24th and 28th

Started job hunting: February 11th

I too am kind of worried. The last update on all our receipt numbers was on the 19th and nothing since.

I'm not an expert but you have your biometrics appointment so i don't know how much work they do on your case while they are waiting for that to be completed....

Instead we get paranoid about these "touches" which probably don't mean anything other than our files being moved around or something. Granted, could be someone's getting an RFE but i've been "touched" a few times already and nothing in the mail yet. Just sitting pretty now waiting for the biometrics appt, and if something happens to come in the mail then i'll jump on that then.

I asked Jim VaPhoung since he is real familiar with alot of these questions and he said the touches shouldn't be nothing to be worried about. I better stop checking since I keep comparing it to others "touches" and get impatient. Eventually we'll all get our responses.

Well .. I'm glad I didnt worry about this too much - my husband received his Biomentric Appointment notice in the mail today for December 16th.

and I just hope I get the Biometrics really soon, because I am going to spend the holidays with my husband's family, and I will not be able to check mu mail!!!

mine either..I think once we get the biometrics out of the way it should get moving. Atleast thats what I've heard from some others.

Wow.. you guys are receiving the biometrics quick.

I sent in my application on the 12th of November. NOA by text message on the 17th, and actually received my NOA mail on the 23rd or 24th.

Still havent received anything yet.

I live in NYC and my NOA started with MSC# so can't even check those.

7/20/09 - When we met
9/16/09 - When we started dating
1/15/10 - Moved in together
9/3/10 - Marriage
11/10/10 - Filed AOS at Chicago lockbox
11/12/10 - AOS package received
11/17/10 - NOA1
12/27/10 - Biometrics --> canceled due to snow condition
1/18/11 - Advance Parole approved
1/26/11 - Biometrics Completed
1/31/11 - EAD in production
2/7/11 - EAD Recieved
2/18/11 - Applied for SSN
2/28/11 - Received SS Card
