Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 20, 2010 and October 27, 2010*. Yeah right  its November 1st and nothing yet :crying:

I really wish I could understand the way VSC works...seriously they are making me go crazy  I've been looking at Igor's list and several couples who filed their petition 2 or even 3 days later than we did, got their approvals...happy for them but this waiting its getting really annoying

oh well...God knows better...

God bless you all

sorry but I needed to vent this out :P

Yes, a pain. Yet, you must be thankful that your petition is in Vermont and not in California. It would take even longer!

Hopefully, you will hear something by the end of this week. Gotta keep the faith!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

That is just an average which is constantly changing, there is no guarantee your petition will be assessed anywhere near that time and as VisaJourney is not affiliated with USCIS there is no reason to take it as fact anyways.

Have a peek at the CSC numbers, that should make you feel a bit better.....

(Now, THERE'S a helpful comment.) OP, barring anything unusual, you should hear something soon. This can indeed be the hardest part of the wait, so keep the faith, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

**Theological influences aside (please).

The potential adjudication times here on VJ have historically been pretty accurate - it is a good judge (usually and for most). For most - if you're in that time-frame (over or under), you should expect to hear something any day.

Its the nerve wracking part - waiting... Hang in there

**Topic is more Case Filing/Progress Report rather than a K-1 Procedure - will move this to a more appropriate forum.

@Patty: I feel for you. It's not that easy to wait and hope at the same time that the VJ estimated dates of adjudication are correct. I don't know much but one thing I found out that most CSC filers got their approvals beyond the estimated date. You belong in VSC so you have an advantage than the others! Hopefully you will get your noa2 soon. I'm beyond the processing time of CSC but still within the range of VJ so I'm counting on that. :innocent:
