You will receive it anyday now. Looking at the timelines for Philippines and NOA1 to NOA2 you are not alone in not receiving it yet but don't loose hope. I would almost be willing to bet you will have it before the week is done. Good luck.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Please do not feel so down. I'm a May filer too and today is my 157th day of waiting. But my husband and I were filing for K3. Although it's a dead visa, we just hope it would bring us together sooner. Last K3 approvals here in the Philippines was last October 21st, 168 days after their noa1 dates. Our 168th day is this Nov. 7th. If we still don't receive anything by then, that's the time I will panic! :crying:

Cheer up! You're not the only one who's waiting in vain. Keep praying. :innocent:

Don't lose hope... you said they touched your file twice last week, believe me it's coming... They didn't forget you - they're just not that good in response and always keep you in the dark but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I always check up on your profile see if you got your approval... I know you are only 2 days ahead of us but it's coming - hang in there!

May 2010 CR-1/IR-1 Filers Thread

“Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” (Corinthians 13:4-7)

That's a bit unfair don't you think? USCIS received millions of applications each year. And you know for a fact that applications filed during second quarter of the year takes much longer than those filled on the last or the first quarter of the month. People who filed in January, February were getting approved within 2-3 months. USCIS accurately sets your expectation that the process will take 5 months generally. But the current estimation is 6 months. Most people are getting approved within 6 months. I don't think USCIS workers are just sitting their sipping diet Coke and not doing their work. They're working probably at a constant rate.

Also this year the fee went up. Usually when fees go up, people send in a barrage of application to take advantage of the lower fees. So all in all, I'm happy with USCIS's services. Although it tooke them 5 months and 8 days to approve my case, it wasn't something I wasn't expecting. But I'm a pessimist. Nothing upsets me because I always consider the worst possible senario as the most likely outcome. This way I get to say "I told you so" when something goes wrong. And when something goes right, I'm pleasantly surprised. And that's a good feeling.
