I am hearing conflicting stories on when to send the ds3032....right now, I have my nvc number, and my iin....and waiting for aos so I can pay the bill....I have seen people send the ds3032 now, but also have seen that your not supposed to send it until after you pay the aos bill....which should I do?

Yes, you can email it,but will be useless until ur message in the AVR doesnt say that ur ds-3032 has been genereated, also the AOS fee!!!!!!!!Is written in the guides too... I sent it 2x,but realised nothing will happen until they send me kit!! They just ignore such emails until we have the priority date i guess.

My spouse is trying to get the Police Certificate in advance. She went to the local Police Station and they are asking for some sort of a letter from local consulate or immigration asking for the letter. Any ideas what I can show to show that we need a Police Certificate. We are not that far in the NVC stage yet but want to get it in advance for a speedy process.

Thanks

Caliguy77,

My husband was asked for this letter as well for the Police Certificate. He was told by the authorities in Greece that he needs a letter from NVC asking for this information.

I was told by an NVC operator to print off the list of ducuments required from their website and try it with that...but the only problem is that my husband (beneficiary) lives in Romania now and would have to travel to Greece for this. He already asked for it before he left that country 10 months ago and was told that he needed a formal letter from NVC asking for this certificate.

We were told by NVC operator to send our DS-230 in with all the other documents we do have and then once they receive it and go over it then we will receive a formal letter from NVC requesting the Police Certificate from Greece since this was one of the counties my husband lived in.

The certificate from Romania our native country he got within 30 minutes without any problems or a formal letter.

I hope this helps you and good luck with all of it.

P.S. Please update you Timeline so we can better assist you with your questions and alos other may possibly benefit from your questions as well knowing where you stand in your process. Thank you! :)

Mary- It usually takes a few days to a week after they have received your case. You can always call the USE to see if they have received your file and have assigned a date. :) Good luck!

Aileen- You can always call NVC and see if they have received the e-mail with the address correction. The online payment method is the easiest but as long as you have the IIN number (which you can get from the operator sometimes), you can pay the bills. If you go to their payment website, they have directions of how to pay offline. Hopefully the e-mail you sent will be reviewed this week and the bills will be ready to be be paid by next week!

I don't think I have ever waited for a bill or wanted to pay so badly. I check the NVC online payment site twice a day to see if the AOS and IV bill has been invoiced. I don't remember lots of important things in life but you can ask me my USCIS case # or the NVC case number and IIN number middle of the night and I will be able to spit it out.

I want to soo get over this so I can get my life back. I have literally done nothing the entire last 9 months but to visit VJ, I hope this journey ends for all of us successfully very very soon ! Amen !!!!

40 minutes on hold to speak with an NVC operator. No fun waiting but I can surely say that they are more pleasant to speak with then USCIS operators. I actually got answers. Good Luck everybody.
