My biometrics was the same. I was one of 3 people there in a room with hundreds of chairs. 10 minutes in and out, everyone was friendly and even gave me a second chance on the photo because I looked asleep in the first haha.

I got the electronic request for evidence I was expecting today. Bit of a bummer but I am excited that it is progress at least.

I also got a touch on the EAD, but it is obviously on hold now until I respond to the RFE. Waiting for the letter to see the specifics, and the IRS transcripts I guessed they will be asking for have still not arrived.

Hope everyone else gets some movement on their applications soon!

Howdy,

another October 2010 filer.

Feel free to compare timelines with me. I don't use the signature but the Timeline function.

Would be really sweet if I could get that EAD and get a job soon. I'm getting a bit restless...

Good luck to us all.

oh boy... hang in there, distract yourself, do something fun and hopefully you get a positive surprise in the mail in no time.

(got no e-mail notification, no touches for weeks and yet, just recently had an envelope in my mailbox)

As you can see from my timeline we filed around the same time, but you gotta keep on mind that your local office may not have any open appointments yet, hence no invitation for you :( ...and with x-mas office parties going on...sigh.....hope you still get it this year.

Good luck on your adjustment journey!!

Timeline

I reviewed some timelines of September filers today and most seem to be moving along pretty fast. I saw several that had a interview notice 1.5 to 2 months after sending in their package. Thats can get me excited, but it could also make things worse in that I might expect the same happening for me, and if it doesn't, well, then big disspointment.

Like Maxximus said, this may really depend on the availability of the local office.

Lets just hope everything goes smoothly, even if it takes a little longer in some cases.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I went to my scheduled Biometrics but there was nobody there. A lady was vacuming the place so I don't know if they were about to close. The officer joked around with me. I actually had a "hair" issue. It was humid that day and my hair started flipping up. It looked so stupid in the picture. He gave me two more chances to arrange my hair so I got it just barely. I thought of the member who shared her no make-up experience. Well, I thought, that won't happen to me. I came after work and was "fixed up." But the hair situation was a bit embarassing. The officer did not like it either, thats why he gave me the additional chance. Otherwise, this was a 10 minute deal, in and out.

Guys, how long does it take to get interview letter after biometrics? I am October filer and my biometrics were November, 18...
