2 weeks as of yesterday. Still no card, no letter.

What kind of action could I take? Call?

Hmmmm...they say 2 - 3 weeks... I know, every day seems like several months....I'd wait till Wednesday and then give them a call and if they don't know push them to give you an infopass asap....

10/13/2010 - Mailed in The Package (AOS, I-765, I-130)

10/17/2010 - USPS confirms delivery to USCIS

10/25/2010 - Check cashed

10/26/2010 - All applications been worked on aka touched

10/28/2010 - NOA1 Receipts for applications received

11/24/2010 - Received appointment for biometrics in the mail for 12/17 *yay*

12/17/2010 - 9.25 a.m. - 9.45 a.m. Biometrics done !!

12/23/2010 - EAD Approved and Card on its way - Email notification received *yay*

01/03/2011 - WOOOHOOO ...EAD Card in Hand!

01/04/2011 - Oh boy....Received Interview Letter today - February 3rd is the day! :)

02/03/2011 - Interview scheduled 12:45 p.m. - out of there before 1:30 p.m. - further review

Coming home, checking for touches at 5:30 p.m. - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED !!!!

02/09/2011 - Yup another e-mail saying that my card production was ordered.

02/10/2011 - E-mail notification "Approval letter was sent today"

02/14/2011 - Welcome Letter / Approval NOA and Card (separate envelope) received!!! :D

Late November 2012 (have to look up my receipts ;) - mailed in ROC I-751

12/12/2012 - NOA 1, status extension received

12/18/2012 - Biometrics appointment letter received

01/08/2013 - Biometrics done

I called them today. They informed that they don't take any action until 30 after the interview. So, I have to wait another 2 weeks. I have never read of anyone not getting their card after the approved interview. But then again, I was also affected by a closed office due to inclement weather, so everything is possible.

Back to waiting.

My timeline:

1997 -------- first time to USA - B2 ("California Dreamin")

1998 -------- Student - F2

2001 -------- Internship - OPT ("Howdy")

2002 -------- First job in USA - H1-B

2008 -------- change to E-2 visa via company

2010/Aug ---- Marriage to USC

2010/Sep ---- honeymoon Costa Rica

2010/Oct ---- Assembly of package (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)

2010/Oct/27 - DAY 01 - package arrived in Chicago ($58 FedEx Overnight charge)

2010/Nov/1 -- DAY 6 - NOA via Text and Email + checks cashed by USCIS

2010/Nov/5 -- Day 10 - NOA hard copies arrived

2010/Nov/6 -- DAY 11 - Biometrics appointment notice arrived

2010/Nov/23 - DAY 28 - Biometrics Appointment in Fort Worth, TX

2011/Jan/3 -- DAY 69 - YESSS - Interview Notice received in mail - Interview set for Feb 4, 2011

2011/Jan/8 -- DAY 74 - AP arrived in mail. 2 copies.

2011/Jan/13-- DAY 79 - EAD card in mail.

2011/Feb/4 -- DAY 101 - Interview Day - office closed due to snow/ice in Texas.

2011/Mar/10 -- DAY 135 - rescheduled Interview Day. No official approval communicated, but told that card will arrive in 2-3 weeks.

2011/Mar/29 -- DAY 154 - Scheduled Infopass appointment for Friday 4/1

2011/April/1 - DAY 157 - Infopass App in Irving, TX - was told that a decision has not yet been made about my case

2011/April/14 - DAY 170 - 30 days since my interview: Called USCIS - was told wait a 30 more days.

2011/April/25 - DAY 181 - Green Card arrived.

what a bummer.....they sure are strict huh!? It sure sucks that you are still have to run to your mailbox every day and then just find nothing but the usual mail in there...sigh....don't know how your interview office is doing the after interview process but there is a chance there like you said that you have to wait so long as they are backed up with a workload from the closed office days.

If anything, you could also make an infopass (forgot how far you are from the local USCIS offices) and request for the I-551 stamp for your passport - yes, they may be so "funny" and ask for the approval notice but c'mon, you probably still waiting for that, too and with your A-number in hand they definitely can look up your case on their computer to verify your right to have a stamp. Of course the real deal in hand aka the actual card sure is more appreciated.

Keep on pressing my thumbs/crossing my fingers for you.
