yes, and I answered your question right from the start..I dont believe it should be a problem at all...as long as you can prove it as a valid real marriage...age shouldn't be an issue at all.

The age difference may be questioned. But it won't be given as a reason for denial. What you two must do is demonstrate to the interviewing officer that you have a bona fide relationship.

No one here can assure that you will be successful. Be well prepared for the interview. And tell a confident, genuine love story to the CO.

Best of luck to you both.

OP, big age gap "may be" questioned, but the real marriage and relationship proof will override it.

My wife is 11 years younger to me, but it was not an issue during her last interview time.

When it comes to the USA embassy in Cairo no one can expect what will they do ?!!

I have seen so many people with age gap and they got thier visa after a week or 2 weeks ! And they deenied some people cause they have age gap !!

They might ask you this question : Why you married to a woman older than you ? And theey might ask you if anyone in your family married to an older woman ?.... anyway get ready to answer that question .

Just be your self and don't show them that you worried .Take as much evidence as you can to the interview.........

Good luck and my best wishes for you

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

The "rule of thumb" I have always been told is more than a 15 year difference will raise a question. That is from the man to the woman, if the woman is older than the man I don't know what the general acceptable gap would be but maybe a bit less. Either way it won't in and of itsself be a reason for denial as long as you have adequate proof of the relationship. In my case, the gap is 16 years, but we have 5 trips, including two vacations travelling together, 600+ emails, 2.5 years of chat logs and almost 200 pages of text messages plus the normal pictures et al.
