I have a question for you robertlaird, I know that you went through the Kansas City MO Office was that only for your I-485? All 3 of the I-797's (I-485, I-131, and I-765) have the address from Lee's Summit MO on it. So I am trying to figure out if all 3 are there, or just the I-485, then I have to wonder where the other 2 applications are at. I have given up on getting any type of updates on USCIS website or emails. I am safe to assume most people are dealing with it the same way wait for it to be in the mail. Sometimes no news is good news .

All three are being handled in MO. Appointment for BIO and Interview was via Postal. Text for notice AP and EAD approved. EAD received priority mail few days after notice Card Production. Still waiting on AP postal and interview is Jan 10, 2011. Hope that helps

I received my EAD card yesterday. It was sent Priority mail.

I like how the card looks, even my thumb is up ( there )

The only thing I don' t like it' s my signature !

Can I change it in the future, anybody knows ?

Oh, well ! Now I can finally apply for my SSN too !

The green card supersedes the EAD, so once you have that, you can just cut up the EAD.

My husband has his EAD and AP now. GC interview in on Monday. He has a job offer, but I'm not sure if he'll get the EAD to the HR office before the Christmas break. Do they take the EAD away at the interview? If so, will he just have to wait for the green card to come in the mail before he can provide evidence of working rights to the potential employer?

AH! So nervous about the interview next week.

EAD card was today in the mail. They used priority mail this time. No sign yet of an interview letter. I'm so jealous of those who got their interview dates already. I can't believe someone has his interview on dec 27. Please let us know the details of the experience.

We got approved for EAD.! I checked online and it says card production..a nice xmas gift for us.;-))

FYI..AP no update..but we dont really care much on the AP:-))

Ours was approved next day...Your should be get your approved before Christmas

I've read recent cases where they keep it and cases where they don't even ask about it. I've also read that if they take it you can get a stamp in your passport that acts as your green card (with all benefits including work auth) to show until your card comes.

Edit: FYI my husband's EAD came yesterday. Woo woo!

We got approved for AP today..just a day difference for EAD ( approved 22- Dec.2010)..so now waiting the EAD card and AP approval to show up in our mailbox ;=))

I received an email from Uscis today. It looks like our case was transferred to California on December 22 ( I 485 application ) What exactly this means ? I' m sure this question was asked many times before, sorry !
