I totally don't want to get my hopes up over something silly but:

Today my mood was lifted exponentially when Ali called and said his mother's friend who reads fortunes through coffee (:D) said that Ali will be in the States by DECEMBER!

Well, I know its just a fun fantasy to believe in, it just helped me get through today :) It's the small encouragement that helps. Especially when I remember that the first time she told his fortune 5 years ago it turned out to be true!

Caribbean Lady I hope you are 100% true!!!! that would be a miracle. Gah.

our file was touched yesterday and I am so optimistic. Even February would be an awesome goal for me. I want him here for my cousin's huge wedding!

Hey, good luck with that! A very old lady told a similar thing to my mom. Many things have come true until now. But the first thing I have on my mind is my faith in God. I've put all my trust in Him and I'm sure He won't disappoint me. Do the same, put your trust in God. We will be with our sweeties at the end of this year!! Hopefully. :D

All the best wishes for a speeeedy NOA2 for all of us! Be patient, don't expect it to happen too soon and if it happens sooner than expected, then the surprise will be delightful.

I would say that's possible for some of y'all. Unfortunately we're dealing Montreal, who I believe is still the slowest consulate for interviews.

Having said that, they've recently changed the way interviews are booked for Montreal and I kind of really like the sounds of the new system. Instead of getting an interview date in your P4, you'll get instructions for how to book your own interview online. I like the sounds of it because while it may not necessarily mean an earlier date it means we'll know our date from the get-go rather than waiting for the letter.

Ooh, so I just tonight made an account on USCIS' website for us. :) Our NOA1 date was September 17, 2010 but where our case says "Last Updated" reads as Friday (the 24th).

So did we just receive a touch? :) I know it doesn't mean much this early on but it makes me happy anyway.
