I'll be seeing A again. We're planning to have a visit in the US in November for Thanksgiving and he's planning on spending the Christmas holiday up here. It helps to know that we'll get to see each other but the border always makes me nervous.

I don't really have any ties; I'm living with my mother to save some money and I haven't been able to find a job since I returned from spending the summer with A (the one I expected to get back fell through, unfortunately) so I don't have some of those good things. I'm hoping a return ticket and my NOA1/I-129f packet copy plus my records showing I've always left after past visits will be enough. I have a few bills and one of them is a cell phone contract so maybe that would help, too.

I know now to offer any information they don't ask for but any questions they do ask. A and I have learned the laws well (as a Canadian I can spend up to 180 days per year in the US before it's considered an overstay and before I lose my healthcare in Ontario and we know an overstay risks a 10 year ban, etc) so hopefully that will show that we really do intend to do things the proper way.

I'm always nervous until after the border crossing, though. :)

I doubt i even have my NOA 1 til then ! But other than that i have more then one reason to go to the states. My Grandmother is Us Citizen and had a ruptured brain aneurism =/ .. It is just normal I wanna go see her..

I dont have a lot of ties, but I try my best, .. and I dont think they actually flag you in the system, .. the stories read and told before never really showed that kinda,..it is what you make out of it :)

I dont think I will have any issue

I mean I am entering at POE to go with my Fiance since I dont wanna go by myself. And I am going to tell them I am here to see family and friends, and I consider fiance as family in that point of telling them. And when they ask me anymore Im gonna tell them what happened to my grandmother .. I wont hide and lie, but wrap it up nicely that I am also planning to stay some time with my fiance.

That's great that you'll be coming to visit. My fiance's also coming for two weeks at Thanksgiving. I'll be going to visit him for two weeks at Christmas.

Oh cool, we got touched aswell! It's listed as 10/03/10. Do they work weekeneds?? Cause my first touch was on a saturday, and now on a sunday! lol what. XD
