I've got a bottle of grey goose in the freezer, but I'm out of stuff to go with it. Anyone got cranberry juice they're willing to share??? :help:

You had me until you mentioned "stuff to go with it."

If the Grey Goose is in the freezer, you don't need anything to go with it. Neat is the way to go

+1

You only mix any sort of juice with vodka if it is NOT top shelf quality. Even though i'm not a fan of Grey Goose, but i wouldn't put OJ or cranberry juice in it. However, mixing vodka is not as big a crime against humanity as mixing scotch.

I usually buy Stoli, so I'm a slightly less horrendous infraction. The grey goose was a gift after a really long, bad day.

That's why I buy Popov--it's cheap enough that I'm almost required to mix it.

I just threw up a little in my mouth. Doesn't Popov come in a plastic bottle? :lol

I'm not a big fan of grey goose, but that's a nice gift. My preference is Stoli Elite, it's a bit on the pricey side ($60 a bottle). So I usually settle for Ketel One, which usually is about the same price as stoli. I canot bring myself to drink Absolut...... all their money goes into marketing and nothing into the actual product.

My freshman suitemates and I once wrote a song about Popov, entitled "Popov, The Magic Vodka," lauding its cheapness and damning its vomit-inducing properties.

Note to your Freshman Suitemates: Drink enough of any of them and they ALL have vomit-inducing qualities. ;)

The sickest I've ever been from drinking was on gin. A college Christmas party. I've never touched the stuff again. Even the smell is enough to make me ill.

Fancy that, we have an interview date.

I apologise to Jill, I don't yet have documentation signed and sealed by the Queen, but after our afternoon fox hunt together (the Queen and I that is, not Jill and I) she's absolutely knackered. In any case, I think the facts speak for themselves. Had I not involved my MP, we'd still be waiting for some civil servant dullard to finally blow the dust off the pile and do their job.

The unfortunate bit is that they've scheduled it for late October--perhaps this is the spiteful nature of the state employees the very well-connected marlea warned me of? I'll give the ol' state department a ring to see if they can move it up by a few weeks, otherwise it'll be time to open up my little black book again.

I was waiting for you to post it -- I thought you should have the honors. :D

Looks like we will be able to have our wedding when we wanted it, too. Sooooooooo happy!

That's your tongue bitten is it?

My fiancee tells me that my sense of humour is a bit dry for the American sensibility. I apologise if you didn't understand that I was just having a laugh.

You really can't stand that this worked, can you?

You don't like me, you've made that very clear in the past. And it clearly angers you that I was able to make this broken system finally work for me. So you've set your mind to coming up with all manner of explanation as to why, immediately after I involved my MP, I was given an interview date. It's sad really. If I said the sky was blue, you'd jump through bloody hoops to prove me wrong. Well it's cause and effect my dear. I called my MP, he went to work on it, and he solved my problem. That certainly makes a lot more sense than 'I got my interview in this many days, and so did you, so that proves the sky is plaid.'

Come to London my dear, drinks are on me, and you'll see I'm really not as bad as you think I am.
