August 2010 CSC Filers!

Quite disappointing. Just pop up right now, if we try to call them and expedite our case would we get a positive response from them? or just a mono answer of "try to call back after Xnumber of days"?

Only members of the military and humanitarian cases qualify for expedite, the rest of us just have to wait it out unfortunately. Once you exceeded five months you can contact the USCIS but I haven't heard of a single instance where this has made a difference. We reach five months on Wednesday, so if we don't have ours by then we're going to be contacting our senator and getting him involved.

If nothing has happened by the beginning of February I think we're both going to go nuts....but looks like they're still working on July filers. Wish people would remember to fill in their information so that we could have a better idea of what's going on.

Late 2006: began exchanging e-mails and IMs on and off

Around November, 2009: decided to meet in person

February, 2010: met in Thailand (first time)

May, 2010: met in Taiwan (second meeting)

August, 2010: got engaged

NOA1: August 26, 2010

November-December, 2010: met again in Taiwan (third meeting)

NOA2: 1/26/2011!
