August 2010 CSC Filers!

USCIS received our application on August 30th. Seeing that those of you who are at the beginning of the month have your NOA2s give me so much hope! This is really not an easy process to go through, but Im glad I have found some people who are going through the same thing!

Yep, let's keep our thoughts positive for getting our Noa2s SOON. Every day we don't get it is one less day of waiting. One day closer to having it in hand and being closer to the next phase. :)

After all the waiting with USCIS... I'm proud to say that the process moves so fast after the NOA2. The NVC received our case on Monday and provided a case number the same day. I called today and the rep said their processing is complete and the papers are enroute to the Kingston Embassy as of today.

Next step.. Packet 3!!!

I am not boasting in the least.. but just hopeful that this information will be great news for everyone expecting an NOA2 soon.

[08-19-10] - Received NOA1 by mail (notice date August 13th)

[05-04-11] - Petition expired (no extension granted by embassy in JA)

Yay for one less day of waiting! I really can't wait for the next phase and I am so happy reading about every one else who have things moving fast. Hopefully ours will move quickly as well. :dance:

Around November, 2009: decided to meet in person

February, 2010: met in Thailand (first time)

May, 2010: met in Taiwan (second meeting)

August, 2010: got engaged

NOA1: August 26, 2010

November-December, 2010: met again in Taiwan (third meeting)

NOA2: 1/26/2011!

Tomorrow is our 5 month mark. What should i do once it passes without an NOA2? Should i contact the congressman first, or try and contact somebody at the service center first? Wow, USCIS is such a drag. Right at 5 months and haven't heard anything.
