Congrats guys! and welcome to the group HotGuy! For those who don't know, this couple was stuck in administrative processing for over a YEAR! (they applied in 2008!) I am so happy that they are finally reunited  I hope you guys have smooth sailing!

Day 6 for me! I guess I need to wait awhile longer though :bonk: for the NOA1.

In Florida at a gorgeous Hawaiian-themed hotel for this Harry Potter conference that David and I are going to...can't sleep because I'm still on my night shift schedule, ugh. I suppose waking up at 5am is an improvement though

Hey my friend how are you ? Well my wife wants to know what do you mean by Harry Potter thing? Are you guys going to meet him in FL ?!!! LOL or what ?!!!

We are going to FL in Sept .

Have a nice day .

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

The txt or the hard copy? Has your check been cashed yet? I'm jealous! That means I must be sitting on the guys desk who is on vacation! LOL Typical ;)

Awww!!! no, it was 9 e-mails  which seems to be the trend these days...I don't have my phone on me but I'm sure they're there as well. The typical time is 10 days for NOA1 according the stats right now for AOS, so maybe Monday will be your day!

Hey my friend how are you ? Well my wife wants to know what do you mean by Harry Potter thing? Are you guys going to meet him in FL ?!!! LOL or what ?!!!

Have a nice day .

Well, there are 2,400 Harry Potter fans in a hotel in Orlando for 4 days...during the daytime there are tons of presentations on everything Harry Potter...I went to one yesterday about people who have Harry Potter tattoos and David (more academically inclined) went to a professor from Yale who is lecturing on Harry as a Christian figure. We also went to a presentation where Chase bank gave the Harry Potter Alliance (a charity that raises money for social justice causes--raised $115,000 to Haiti relief efforts a few months ago) a $250,000 check that they won in a contest last week on facebook.

During the evenings we have a ton of fun stuff like last night one gal who is a senior music major in New York wrote a 3 hour musical, cast 50 people with a 14 person orchestra, and held practices online via skype. Crazy!! It was about the last 200 pages of the Deathly Hallows (the last Harry Potter book). I didn't know if it would be able to be pulled off well, but it was amazing! Tonight we have a ball dance with regular music ("Muggle" music) and some wizard rock.

Plus there's the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park that just opened last month...the organizers rented it out from Universal late last night just for us :) I wasn't able to get a ticket but I'm going on Monday after the conference is over.

.....did I mention that we are HUGE Harry Potter nerds? at another panel the audience was asked how Harry Potter has changed one's life...and I got to tell everyone how that's how I met my husband! Met in Toronto at a Harry Potter conference...engaged at another on in SanFran!

We filed our AoS on July 5th. No action yet from USCIS - though I have received confirmation that it was signed for on the 8th July. I'm expecting we should hear something soon, though currently no action has been taken (i.e. no NOA or check cashed).

Interesting how much of a difference there can be, for some people it took them 1 week to send NOA-1 and cash the checks while in others its taking at least 2 weeks for the same step.

Well I got mine back today...my husband used an old form for the affidavit of support so we have to resubmit the whole package. I'm totally blaming him for this one. lol I'll have it done and we'll overnight it (again) tomorrow so it'll be there on the 21st.

I'm disappointed but oh well....it happens.

Well after looking over my whole package I realized that I cant find any form that is 'outdated' as they claim. Now what....sheesh....if they sent it back for no reason.....

*sigh* I'll just leave the rest of that thought unsaid...
