friends... one more thing....

the message in AVR is... the NVC is awaiting biographic forms from Petitioner.

after doing some search i found out that this message means that NVC is asking to submit ds-230 with required civil documents.

BUT.. does this mean that my I 864 was accepted by NVC.. because as far as i understand the I 864 process comes BEFORE ds-230 NO?????

If not then why they asking me to submit ds-230 ? because according to their system i 864 is not there? is it possible???? can NVC ask for ds-230 BEFORE AOS I 864?????

sorry too many questions....its just that i am dumb :help:

All I can tell you is that the AVR never said our I864 was accepted. It changed to the message about waiting biographic forms.

I spoke with an operator at that point who told me the I864 was accepted.

Not sure I've helped much, but maybe this will ease your mind a little!

Waiter- You aren't dumb. This is a new process for all of us. It seems to be that the AVR hasn't been saying that they received people's I-864 but skipping ahead to the DS230. You can always call an operator on Monday to check and see if they received your I-864. Good luck with everything!

OK got it. i will call monday. and as for the ds-230? NO my wife will mail police certificate to me on monday and i will receive it end of next week.. and after i get it i will mail it to NVC the next day... and IF everything is fine i guess i'l be done with NVC atleast on my part. right?

You will be waiting for the SIF and hoping and praying you don't get an RFE.

And then more waiting for an interview!

I hope you don't have to wait as long as we did to find out a date after SIF/CC. It was May 11 til June 28 to get our Aug 24 interview. Jordan is really busy!

First of all you are not dumb; you're just trying to figure out this crazy process so don't be too hard on yourself. When I sent in my AOS packet I forgot to write my case number on the top right of each page. I also did not know my packet was processed and accepted until I received a letter asking for missing information, the IV packet. The AVR is not reliable, which is quite annoying. However, we can't do anything about that but to turn in our documents and wait.

Everything will be fine just get everything in and double check and triple check your paper work. make sure you are using the newer DS 230 form the NVC site. Check to see if your country has country specific guidelines in regard to processing the CR/IR visa.

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

07-26-2010 : NVC starts processing IV Packet

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

Black and White is fine. I did send in color copies of most things. I don't think it matters as long as the copies are clear and legible.
