I front loaded my I-130 with notarized letters from family and friends. I don't think they have to be done that way but that's what I did.

Oh I have another question for you people.

What's up with the "A" number? I never had one before (when I got my J1 Visa) and didn't "Recieve" one now even after being approved by CIS.

Should I have one or just not worry about it?

Yay...we finally have the magical A#. Good luck to everyone hearing some good news from NVC whether it be a case number or an update per AVR or for some lucky people, the SIF and interview dates!!!!!!

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

haven't checked in for a few days, but am hoping everyone in here keeps up with the SIFs and case completes! no news of an interview date yet on this end yet...am hoping to hear this week according to the NVC Operator.

On a side note to any Pakistan members - my wife tells me that apparently they can now conduct immigrant visa interviews at the Consulate General's Office in Karachi (instead of Islamabad)...the NVC Operator seemed to know nothing of this, so i'm not sure. Anybody know? It would be far easier for us to interview in Karachi. appreciate any insight....

Hmm no it is not. :(

There there are 8 boxes on the "head" of the notice. receipt number, receipt date, priority date, notice date, page, case type, petitioner, beneficiary (both only contain our names.

Then there's our address, notice type (approval notice section: husband or wife of us citizen and then the notice text that says it's approved and being forwarded to NVC.

Should I be worried now?
