august 19 is the interview date i got today. i'm sooooo happyyy 51 days more to go 'till the interview....i hope they don't put my hubby in administrative processing as they're doing to other guys....god help me

Received an email from NVC for the interview. It's on Aug 5th at 8:15AM.

Congratulations to you both... that is so great....

One more day to go in this thread....

I front loaded my I-130 with notarized letters from family and friends. I don't think they have to be done that way but that's what I did.

I had a question, Why did they ask your wife for a bank statement ? To show ongoing financial co-mingling ? Did you attach any other evidence for that ?

sometimes it is needed to show financial evidence. you can show bills with your names on it too. etc.

I had a question, Why did they ask your wife for a bank statement ? To show ongoing financial co-mingling ? Did you attach any other evidence for that ?

I never sent in it because I didn't think I would need it since I am making well over the poverty line with my new job. I did send her pay stubs and employment letter which they never asked to see. They wanted bank statement since I didn't make enough last year in 2009. I only made 14k last year since I was out of country for almost 6 months. I did send them a employment letter plus last 3 years of tax return including 2009, but we never got a RFE for that. As most of said, the CO has the final say.

2009-12-29: Mailed I-130 package to Chicago

2010-01-04: package arrived at USCIS

2010-01-12: NOA1 arrived Case sent to CSC

2010-03-22: NOA2 approval email and letter recieved

2010-03-24: called NVC got NVC#

2010-03-26: NVC message verified paperwork sent on the 25th

2010-03-29: Got email from NVC and paid AOS fee.

2010-04-01: AOS fee shows paid, and receive and paid IV Bill

2010-04-05: IV bill shows paid and NVC mailed packet

2010-04-26: Mailed I-864

2010-05-06: AVR stated recieved I-864

2010-05-14: NVC email stating need ds230

2010-05-27: AOS/DS-230 Mailed

2010-06-17: case complete!

2010-06-22: sign in failure!

2010-06-24: Interview date received Aug 9th 9am

2010-07-21: Medical Exam-PASSED!
