Thanks "yuenashleysl." I'm going to start getting all the documents ready for the interview for my hubby.

You are welcome...by the way, my legal name is Yuen, my nickname is Ashley....

I keep delaying the preparation and thought I would have enough time...but we received our notice on May 14 for an interview on June 7...just about 3 weeks time...

so, now I'm so stressed...

Take care, I'm sure you will be more prepared than I am...

Hello everyone,

Congratulations to all that go their interview dates already. To the rest, hold in there, it's going to be soon :). I'm writing today to ask for advice. My wife's interview is on June 15th (we got the letter from the NVC on April 30th). When she went to get het medical exam date, they could only give her June 5th, and they told her the results would not be ready for 1-2 months. They assured her this would not be a problem for the interview because on June 5th after her medical exam they would give her a "pass" saying her results are pending, and she takes this "pass" to the interview. They told her she is somewhat common over there.

It worries me to follow these instructions since the NVC letter says the visa may be denied if the medical exam results are not available at the interview. i know every country has its own ways of dealing with this, but I wonder whether I should try to re-schedule the interview :( :(. Any suggestions?

I have been trying to contact the US embassy of course, but to no avail. No answer to email, busy phone lines all the time.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer. However, did you try to contact anyone else on here who has gone through the same embassy? Or maybe read some of the reviews?

I don;t know the answer either, but look at the regional forum. There should be a Cuban group there who will be able to answer this and alleviate all your concerns. Good luck!
