Ok, Now I'm officially worried.

Our package was delivered and signed for 4/9/2010, the check was cashed maybe a week later, it's 05/04/2010 and I still haven't received my NOA1!!

Thus I don't even have a case# that I could ask for. Could you, please, advise me on what to do next? I've already contacted the local post office, and they say they've checked the mail truck and all, and nothing. I don't really know what to do. Should I make an Info pass appointment? Can I do that without a case#? I know calling USCIS is a total waste.

Any advice is appreciated!

Trying not to get nervous but we still haven't gotten our bio letter. I know it's not time to panic at all but seeing others get it makes me hopefully that we will any day now. Our ASC is pretty busy with living in the DC area and they also have a military base right there that they support. Time to think happy thoughts. Happy thoughts. Eeeee.. Maybe it will be there today. *Crosses fingers*

Good news! My bio appointment form came yesterday. It's scheduled for 5/26.

Their cases are little exceptional, but March CSC filer MDavis31 filed on 3/19 and just got bio letter yesterday!!!

And w8inglongtime filed on 3/23 and at this point, still waiting!!!

You might not have a case number but you have an A number, your alien number on your green card. And that should help them find you if needed.

An infopass appointment can't hurt, especially if you're getting close to having your GC expiring. You do need the extention for work after all.

mini update here! and with some good news i think?! Looks like just corrected the check was all they needed. I resent all the info and corrected check on 4/26 and it was received on 4/28 and drumroll...... while on vacation the check was cashed on 4/30!!!! So I am hopeful that any day now an noa should show up in the mail :) sure was nice to see it got cashed while at Universal Studios! Made enjoying vacation a lot easier :)

July 21, 2007 I29F sent to Vermont Service Center

July 24, 2007 packet received and signed for

August 2007 received NOA1 with receipt date of July 31, 2007

Dec 10, 2007 received email notification that NOA2 approval notice has been sent and petition approved!!!!!!!!!

Dec 14, 2007 received hard copy NOA2 approval in the mail

Dec 14, 2007 called NVC said our case had been received and already sent to the New Zealand consulate in Aukland!!!! Whoohoo!!!

Dec 24, 2007 Fiance received packet #3 from Auckland Consulate WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Merry Christmas to us!!!

Dec 29, 2007 Fiance completed packet 3 and sent to Consulate.

January 2, 2008? (checking the date) Consualte received packet 3 back

January 3, 2008 Medical

January 7, 2008 Inoculations

January 8, 2008 Received letter with interview date from Consulate!!

Their cases are little exceptional, but March CSC filer MDavis31 filed on 3/19 and just got bio letter yesterday!!!

And w8inglongtime filed on 3/23 and at this point, still waiting!!!

I'm crossing my fingers for youwink.gif

I haven't received my bio letter too, so yesterday I called them to find out what was going on. Talked to a representative, who just made a lot of questions, asked for receipt number etc...them I was redirect to a immigration officer, who asked my last name, name and confirmed my address.

He was very helpful and provided me with the information that my biometrics had not being schedule yet, and this happens because the ASC center is busy and didn't have a appointment available. He said that I should be schedule for anytime between now and june 5th.

So, I am not worried anymore, as now I kow the it didn't get lost in the mail, or stole from my mail box, and I have no risk in losing an appointment that had been schedule already. (that what I was afraid of).

So, for everybody that have been waiting and wondering why have not received the bio yet when others have already, I will tell you it all depends on how busy your ASC center is.

The officer told me, although they try to schedule within 30 days, they do have 2 months to do it.
