Yay! They mailed my EAD to me today!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Congrats!!! ready to work now!!!

is there any advantage in doing that expedited thing if I already recieved my interview letter??? or should I just wait now, would it speed the process?

is there any instructions where i can see what steps to follow to fill the EAD expedited?

Its a gamble, but maybe your right, maybe waiting for the whole thing and then submitting it all together could have taken later then getting a RFE and submitting it now. Well be sure to go to a civil

Thank you!

As I think for you it is easier to wait for interview and get GC. Because to process ead it takes at least 20 days.

I know you can't wait to start working but you will receive GC sooner than ead. But you can try! Collect evidence of financial loss or other reasons and fax it over. When you call USCIS the lady will give you a fax number where to fax.

The only one thing is that your ead can slow down production of gc after interview as in my case with interview letter.

Thanks everyone for the kind words :thumbs: . I am going to TRY :whistle: and stay patient! I may give them a call again on Monday and see if a different representative knows whats going on. I did get a phone number from an IO in the Anchorage office so I may also phone her on Monday too to see if she knows why it is taking so long.

Well you will never guess what?


The mail arrived about an hour ago bringing me my biometric appt letter for the 16th June  :dance:  but also another RFE for my husband. It is a very simple one though, it's requesting additional evidence for bona fide marriage. We now have a joint bank account and joint lease as well as lots of wedding photos (which we didn't have when he sent the petition away). I am not worried or annoyed by this RFE at all. Thanks  :thumbs:  It's not far away - just over a week to go. I unfortunately can't do a walk in here as the USCIS only have a temporary office in Fairbanks and are only here for a few days. I don't mind waiting though! We do have everything we need for the RFE and will be sending the stuff back today.
