Hi everyone, my NVC journey is now in the hands of the NVC. As of 8/10/2010, the NVC had loaded my IV application into the AVR system. So all forms are finally in. Please update me if anyone within that relative timeframe has gotten their case completed. We are hoping to have my wife home for holloween, target is thanksgiving, likely is my birthday, more likely is christmas, and worst case scenario is exactly new years. Estimates based on recent NVC completion and interview dates.

Hi Kevinandangel, Like discotrash ask please join in. If you go to the top middle of this page and click on Immigration Timelines, then click on Add/edit Timeline you can easily establish and update your timeline so everyone can benefit.

I just sent my DS230 in and the NVC should be receiving it today hopefully. Then it will take a few days to get it entered into the AVR. Halloween would be nice wouldn't it. If they get your package to the Embassy quickly. I was told that the busy season is almost over and things are expected to speed up at NVC. Lets see what happens.

There were but it got busted out. Just post here. In April, there were very few filers. Half of March's. Just post in here. There's a April thread but it's in some sub-folder. It's better to post in March's because there's a wealth on information here on this thread already (that's not available in any other thread.)

Well we meet again. we are starting the second half of the month. with one approval so far and more people adding there names every day to april filers. it was funny but about a month ago there was 20 people before me on visajourney and i know that there is more that weren't on the site but there was twenty and everyday it goes up and up and now there are 34 april filers on the site before me. will we see a lot of approvals or will we see another week of only 4 or 5 approvals?

I really hope that those who are still waiting can get their llllllllllllllloooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng awaited approvals. Jeez USCIS! "No, it's not Haiti" "Yes, wait, no. Uh..we need more people. I think. Maybe. Just call back later."

I sure hope that by the time everyone gets approved, the NVC will have gone back down to 10 days instead of 6-8 weeks from all documents received to give the SIF/CC.
