I don't often use the search feature, and I don't usually search for posts where people aren't getting along. After seeing Steven's posts for many years, many of which I disagree with politically, I doubt he could be very horrible.

i'm happy steven will be paying for my wife and boys for healthcare while he lives in a 2 bedroom apartment and has zero chance to better himself. I'll take his money everyday ... cause he is one income (jinky) with steven providing unreported income by drawing cartoons and has only one child .... the other child he accidentally fathered with his ex is older and is is claimed with his ex ....

It is cheaper for me to go to Italy twice a year, visit family and get my medicine throught their system and bring it home... I just fear what might happen if something really tragic happens or if I get really sick...

I get MOST of my scrips in Mexico, then the strange stuff in Singapore, via OTC there.

Anything requiring a 'day of doctors' - I'm in China, getting it done.

Hospitals, Doctors, etc. get paid negotiated rates by insurance companies (hence the 'in-network' part of most policies)

If you pay cash in a hospital you are going to pay much more than an insurance company would.

- those who cannot pay are part of the problem

- over regulation on procedures/drugs by the government is part of the problem

- lack of medicaid/medicare payments to cover actual costs is part of the problem

So how do you explain me being able to purchase the same medication from AUS, having it shipped here, yet it still costing $115 less than buying it here. Forget to mention, it also comes in double the dosage 60ml rather than 30ml and is a brand name pharmaceutical. Not one of those cheap and nasty generics.

You assumptions hold not water. Otherwise, for you to be correct, the rest of the developed world would have to be wrong.
