:dance::dance: Hubby called me at 4am this morning after he picked his passport up with the visa and envelope. He was called by the embassy Monday to immediately submit his passport, they called him Tuesday telling him he can pick it up with the visa today Wednesday. We booked his flight for this weekend :star::star::star:

Congrats Andrea on Sameh's visa without AP :thumbs:

I'm still praying for everyone still waiting.........March will be everyone's month!!!

01-04-09 - Married in Egyptian Embassy - Qatar - honeymoon in Egypt (Ahmed's home country)

05-04-09 - I-130 Sent

12-13-09 - INTERVIEW PASSED (Qatar)....Spent 12 weeks in AP

03-03-10 - VISA IN HAND :)

03-06-10 - AHMED COMES HOME :)

03-12-10 - SS# card received

03-19-10 - GC received

05-15-10 - First job

06-01-11 - Better job!

03-2012 - Started our business

Removal of Conditions/10 yr GC

02-15-12 - Sent I-175 ROC

07-17-12 - approved!....card production ordered!!!!

07-21-12 - 10 yr card arrived in mail :)

03-2013 - Apply for Naturalization

Thanks for thinking of us!! Sameh still has a little bit of work to do before he comes but we have the reservation for the 19th!!!!

Everyone is still in my prayers too for a quick AP and get their visas soon Is'A!!! :thumbs:

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thank you everyone..........I'm really praying for everyone still waiting, Isa everyone will be out of AP this month :star:

Ahmed will arrive this weekend Isa, we haven't slept much this week with all the excitement, but he's packed and ready to go, just wrapped up everything at work and will spend the next day and half saying his goodbyes to family in Doha.

Isa we will go back to Egypt by the end of the year to visit his mom and all his family.

So all in all........... he got his visa almost 10 months to the day that we filed the I-130 and spent almost 12 weeks in AP. I guess we have no room to complain.........but AP is definitely the worst part of the waiting process!!! Some days it felt like he would never get it, even though inside I knew there was no reason he shouldn't. But you definitely start to doubt your own instincts in this whole process.

Reading everyone's approvals and success stories sure helped me along the way to keep up hope :)

So now i guess we get a break until 3 months before his 2 year anniversary in the US to get his 10 yr GC...........
