This is such a tease watching people the day before, teh same day, and they day after get approved, I imagine that there is alot of people out there that have seen the same. Its like waiving a treat in front of a dog saying yes here you go , on second thought no not now sit boy and wait, patients is a virtue that I really need to work on hahahaha. Well for those we are on the second chapter congrats and for us still hanging in there, let it be today. :)

hello guys! after 75 days of waiting and praying and tear filled nights, we just got our NOA2 today..very early suprise..whew!

to those who doesn't have their NOA2 yet, just hang on..you will receive it too! :)

Our package was delivered in Dublin today. John is going to the Garda station today to ask for a police report. (Yeah, he's a little late getting around to that!). I need to start gathering the info I need to send him.

I am almost ready for Packet 3. Paris has received yesterday our package so hopefully we will hear something soon!

Do you know if we can check with DoS people if the embassy has sent the Packet 3 and / or scheduled the interview later on? Or do we have to get in touch with the embassy directly?

I think you can contact DOS. I've seen other people mention that.

If you want to get in touch with the embassy directly I'd get the number from NVC (if you haven't already). When I called NVC to get my case number they gave me a phone number for the embassy. I dunno about Paris, but the Dublin embassy website states that you can't contact them directly and only give a call center number that you have to pay to call. But the number NVC gave me is different so maybe that actually reaches the embassy itself.

So that's NOA1 of 3/23 and 3/29 as well as 3/5 and 3/15 approved today. What torture to see people with NOA1s after us getting approved! Knowing my luck, I got a very slow, lazy adjudicator who is also currently on summer vacation.

But here's hoping to movement soon.

I have been calling NVC since friday to see if they hav an update on my case. Till today they dont have the case. Is anyone experiencing the same thing? or they dont update until the embassy gets the packet or something?

08/19/09 - Saw her first time after 7yrs through common friends profile.
08/25/09 - Met her after 7yrs. Spent almost 13hrs together.
09/09/09 - Proposed her for first time.
09/16/09 - Proposal accepted from her on conditional basis (If Parents Agree)
09/27/09 - Parents met me and interrogated me. Approved!!!
10/02/09 - Unofficial Engagement between families when they met.
10/25/09 - Official Engagement Day.
10/25/09 - Same night flying back to U.S
02/23/10 - Got my Citizenship.
03/22/10 - I-129F/K1 Filed for my Darling.

Are you speaking with a real live person? I know they have an automated system, but they don't input K-1's into there, so you have to talk to someone to get any info.
