Yah, People told him it would be quicker if he sent it VIA Aramex like the CO Told him, so he is going to send it Tommarow via Aramex and they will have it on Monday so i hope my wendsay or thursday they will call him to send his Passport. Its getting scary over there i want him to get here ASAP before God Forbid anything Happens over there.

That does sound like the safest way to send it in! I understand about wanting to "hand" deliver it, but with all the commotion going on, I would use Aramex too!

I hope you hear something soon!!!

By the way, how do I check the interview schedule?

Specifically for GUZ-bound petitions, using NVC Electronic Processing.

NVC sets the appointment, within 7 days of 'case complete at NVC'.

Usually, its between 3 weeks to 5 weeks AFTER the 'setting date'.

As for 'how to know' -

you'll receive the appointment letter IN AN EMAIL.

MAKE SURE the foreign spouse prints out the appointment letter, takes it and the medical stuff in on interview day.

There are other things to bring in, as well, but you'll know about that already, I'm sure.

There is no 'viewable appointment schedule' for GUZ for any petition type, sorry.

Once the casefile has left NVC, though - you can call DOS Hotline and learn more about casefile status.

For an NVC-EP case, though, for GUZ interview - it's useless - as you will KNOW the appointment date within 7 days of 'case-complete at nvc'.

Hey guys!

For the first time in a long while (since sending the I-130) I had a really nice weekend. It was wonderful not having to worry about USCIS/NVC being closed and your file just sitting there.

So, tomorrow is monday and the start of a week with lots of CC's in this thread! I look forward to all of you having the same feeling I had this weekend next weekend!

BTW,I'm tracking the package that's going to Sweden (I hope it's actually mine, haha) and it's been stuck in Germany for the weekend...Hopefully it'll make it across by tomorrow!

Take care!

Who exactly are you petitioning for? Your husband and his daughter? Right?

No, need for choice of agent forms since you filed the I-130 with a lawyer. Your bills have arrived, yes? Pay them and wait for them to clear in 1-2 days. Should be $70 for the AOS and $800 for the IV.

Your packets are ready, hopefully? Once the bills shows up as PAID, print out the cover sheet and then send in your documents. Overnight them.

Petitioning for step daughter. Husband is here already. Ok so your saying that NVC doesn't need a DS3032 form signed by my step daughter since I have an attorney? I thought my attorney said my step daughter would have to sign this form and mail it to U.S. before the NVC process is completed?

Hey, so just your step-daughter. No, a DS3032 is NOT needed because you filed the I-130 using an attorney. That is why BOTH your bills arrived together. You bypass the DS3032. Otherwise, you'd have received the AOS/DS3032 link together like the rest of us did. Check TatyanaR or Gina2010's timelines -- they also filed using an attorney. Note that both recieved the AOS/IV bill together.

Have you paid the bills? Pay them NOW if you haven't. They will take about 2 days to clear.
