Isn't that one of BUSH QUOTE when the people was opposed to the war?

How soon people can forget

No it wasn't one of Bush's quotes. Bush's quote was a speech to those harboring terrorists, you're either with us, or you're no different than the terrorists.

The meaning is different in the parody you quoted.

It's amazing to see the hubris of the ** Party on full display.

After a disastrous special election, when they lose control of perhaps their safest seat in the Senate, in an overwhelming Blue-voting state, their message is that they intend to pass the legislation they are proposing, which the voters in that previously safe constituency rejected by their votes in this election, before the incoming senator can be seated.

Amazing. It's like they listened to the voice of the Massachusetts electorate, but heard The Birdie Song.

This country is supposed to have a democratic process and, when faced with a one-party super-majority, as we have had since Senator Arlen Specter crossed parties to the Dimocrats, opportunities like the Mass. special election should be looked at as a barometer of public opinion. And one that is more reliable than an opinion poll at that, because the people in Mass. actually had to get out and make the effort to vote. The stark reality is that Mass. is an overwhelmingly ** state with a 3:1 disparity between registered ** and Republican't voters. Still they voted in a Republican't Senator.

If a strongly ** state turning Republican't isn't enough of a message to kill "Healthcare" Reform as it currently stands then I hope this voting pattern is repeated across the country come November, and the smug grin is wiped from the faces of the ** leadership. If they ignore the message the Mass. voters have sent, they deserve nothing more than to lose everything.

The people in Mass. already have universal health care and it's working well - more people

have health insurance in Mass. than anywhere in the country (less than 3 percent don't,

compared to 15 percent nationally.) It didn't lower their premiums, but it didn't cost them

trillions of dollars either. In fact, it cost them less than 2 percent of the state budget.

Is it really surprising they voted against the bill?

I really liked how they got their health care by taking Federal money. So the rest of the country is subsidizing their health care. Sound familar?

Against the Bill currently under consideration? Absolutely not. It stinks, and everyone except the ** leadership seem to know that.

If we were looking at a true healthcare reform Bill, minus the buy-offs, pay-offs and special provisions and opt-outs, offering a well thought-out single payer system, we wouldn't be looking at a widescale dissing of the Dimocrats in Congress and the White House, would we?

I want the current Bill to fail because it's not good enough and the American people deserve better than the Dimocrats are prepared to pass.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

No, I've been a single-payer advocate from the outset. My objections to the current Healthcare proposals are that they are not what this country needs, wants, or deserves. They are what the ** party is prepared to allow, after they have got everyone paid off beforehand.

And if you're going to call someone dim-witted, at least spell the "witted" bit right, or you look like a complete prat.

So you object to any marginal reforms because it's not perfect? What country are you from originally again?
