Hi ladies and gentlemen.

I just checked my wife's I-485 online and it states:

On January 15, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

I live in a suburb of Philadelphia, aren't they supposed to send somewhere in the east, or I should chill out?

Thanks :D

-February 17th, 2009 I-129F application sent

-February 19th, 2009 I-129F arrived in Vermont

chill out... happens quite frequently.... a CSC transfer means they will attempt to approve without interview.

YMMV

Hey Payxibka and Ladyinpink, thank you for the quick responses

Payxibka you are a wonderful person you have been answering a lot of my questions :)

It would be nice if it gets approved without interview, but whatever is needed to do, will have to do it.

I wish you both and everyone a great day!

If I can ask both of you, who got approved with no interview:

Did you preload any evidence into your petition documents? Send in marriage/relationship evidence in addition to the marriage cert?

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

My wife and child were approved without interview... no pre-loading of I-485 other than the required minimum evidence

YMMV

Same here.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

May I ask you how you manages to check the status of the AOS petition?

My wife already received her Biometrics appointment, but USCIS website still says that her case cannot be found when we try to verify the status using the receipt number.

yep just sent the required stuff like the marriage certificate. No interview although we did get an RFE for the medical. They sent the green card a week after he submitted his new medical.

I wonder if that's typical (since there isn't a stat for it on this site).

We returned the RFE for medical. They received it last Tuesday yet still haven't notified us of receipt. But I would be AMAZED if we get the green card a week after they acknowledge receipt of the RFE.
