Just got off of the phone with the call center. Interview is scheduled for April 28. They wanted to make it April 1 but that is

way too early for us! The process is moving smoothly and quickly.

I'm glad to see Kiev is turning interviews around like hotcakes :) I hope we get through NVC fast enough to have a late April interview.

Hell, we might even meet you there :)

Are you going to be attending with your fiancee?

We're also glad to see Kiev is on the ball. Recieved NVC letter over the weekend. Our petition should be arriving in Kiev this week. Good luck fellow Kiev couples and everyone else!

I'll be there. It's hard to believe that if we would have taken the April 1 date she could have been in the US in under 90 days

from filing to POE. She has some loose ends to tie up in Ukraine so we had to give ourselves a little cushion.

She received her packet 3 yesterday, only two days after I received the NVC letter that they would be sending it on to Kiev. Kiev is all over it. This process has been miraculous for us as prior to 2010, from what I could tell, the K-1 process had been taking 6-7 months if not longer. Depending on when she interviews, she could have her visa in under 90 days from start to finish. We weren't even expecting our NOA 2 until late June. Hoping not to offend anyone that is still waiting...it is just such a blessing. Keep believing.

I changed our interview to April 20 to avoid any problems with May Day and Victory Day slowdowns.

Wow, Ukraine is just moving people along! They believe in love.... (L) I received notice of my fiance's interview date today, it'll take place about 3 months and 3 weeks since I first mailed the file to USCIS. My fiance and I were sure we wouldn't see each other until October or November so we're especially .... nervous! I guess we'll be getting wed in the summer and not for Christmas like we thought! I too do not mean to offend anyone who is still waiting. As a matter of fact the excitement and tension has waned since finding out the interview date. It was like waiting for Christmas as a child! Besides, we still have the vaccinations, the medical exam, my fiance still must get his passport for heaven's sake :bonk: and then, of course, the interview! Best of blessings to any of our January filers who are still waiting!

Congratulations, Mr. Strain. Isn't that fantastic news? You must be on top of the world!

Just out of curiosity, have any of the January filers here already had their interview?
