Leaving today for final interview!!

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatulaahi wa Baraakatuh ^_^

Insha'Allah everyone is in the best of health. Just wanted to let you know that my husband and I will be leaving at midnight tonight on the train to Tunis (capital). His medical appointment is scheduled for tomorrow morning and the visa appointment is on Monday :dance: So insha'Allah everything will go well! Please keep us in your dua!

Our Timeline

April 4, 2009: Married in Tunisia

June 2009: USC received residence card

October 20, 2009: Submitted I-130 at embassy (Tunis, Tunisia)

October 26, 2009: Received Packet #3 in the mail

November 1, 2009: Sent back packet #3

November 13, 2009: Received email from embassy notifying of final visa appointment scheduled for November 23, 2009

November 23, 2009: Appointment for visa. Accepted with NO INTERVIEW!!!

November 24, 2009: Took visa in hand from the Embassy!

December 9, 2009- we both fly to AMERICA!!!!!!! (inshallah)

June 10, 2010 - Biometrics appt

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

Barak Allah Feek and thank you all for your good wishes!!!! It went so much smoother than expected!! his appointment was at 11am monday morning. we went in, they took the required documents, and that was it!!! NO INTERVIEW!!!!!! gave him his little pink receipt telling us to return the next day to collect his passport and visa!!!! I still can't believe there was no interview LOL. Alhumdulillah!!! :luv:
