Just dropping in quick on my lunch break! Hope you are having a good day!!

I tracked the DS form and it is in NH

I paid the AOS and finally got a receipt, cover sheet and am mailing the support packet tomorrow.

:dance::thumbs:

Unfortunately there is a postal strike in UK so he still has not recieved anything to get his stuff sent in! grrrr

Will we get a notice when the IV bill is ready to be paid or do I need to keep checking?

Despite the postal strike I got my police certificate yesterday and my passport pics today so we have everything ready. All systems go! If only the nice people at the post office can get my documents on a plane I'm sure the lovely USPS can do the rest and get them to Diane in time. This is easy. I'm glad we didn't waste money on an immigration lawyer. Has the lovely Ms Sheka not joined us yet? :(

Many places in Egypt don't use postal codes. I left that part blank on our apps. Some places don't even use proper addresses. My husband's address in Egypt doesn't have a number just a name of the building he lived in and his street name plus the name of his neighborhood and his city and province.

You should come check out the MENA forum. It's a great place to have Egypt specific questions answered.

thx u so much , i appreciate u , thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have a question! My hubby fedexed his 230, etc...to me earlier this week. I was so busy that I just made sure it was all there, then stuck it back in the envelope. Now that I'm home sick, I have too much time on my hands! I was just looking at his 230 and noticed that certain fields look like someone went over them with a yellow highlighter. Has anyone seen this? Is this how it prints out? I'm so confused. For example, question #1 has every answer highlighted. Then it jumped to #14, etc...was his printer screwed up or something? Should he redo this? Sorry if I'm not making sense-I have the darn flu and I'm feverish!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Our IV bill is now available and is waiting to be paid. The husband is still on dreamland so i'll have to wait a few more hours but i am also thinking of waiting for the email from NVC before actually paying for the bill. I know it's fine to pay for it even without the email but since I have been reading a few people encountering problems when they paid for it even without the email, Im now more inclined to wait. what do you guys think?

Wait a few hours! Better safe then sorry and delayed later!!!

I checked online and our IV bill is available too, but no email yet!! I think I am going to wait too!!! Just to be safe but it is driving me crazy!!!:wacko::wacko:
