Ahhhhhh!!! Sweet, sweet obsession! Just finished FedEx'ing my DS-3032s. Now I can keep myself entertained this weekend by constantly refreshing the FedEx tracking page. Then we get to see whether snail mail or email gets processed more quickly. (Of course, FedEx'ing is sort of cheating on the snail mail bit)

Mark :)

aside from writing the nvc case number on the top right hand corner of all documents on AOS packet, what else should i include writing??

I sent mine out today! I sent it express mail so it will be there on Monday. I only put the NVC case number on every page except the cover letter I printed out from them. I hope it was enough! I also attached them all together with an acco clip because I had alot of pages I included! :star:

i was advised by some NOT to use acco for NVC, they recommended using paper clips, staplers ... i figured the case would do... lost nothin by asking right? thanks..

:help: We got the number from NVC but nothing in the mail yet.

We filled in the forms downloaded from website.

Do we need to wait for David to recieve official letter with barcode before we can proceed?

I keep reading abot people providing NVC with thier email address and getting everything the next day via email.

I am very anxious to do this and move things along but he thinks we need to wait for the letter he will get in the post.

If we do wait for the letter can we use scanned copy along with the signed one I have here and just paste barcode to it?

Thanks!!

If you have an NVC number, then you can call and talk to a customer service rep and give them your email addresses. Otherwise, you will be waiting for snail mail...

Mark

I called tonight and provided our email addresses. The nice man told me the letter was mailed on the 15th.

When you got the NVC number, did you give them your email address too? We gave them our email addresses immediately and then got the emails for the ds-3032. My husband used the template and emailed his choice of agent to them. I mailed in the hard copy that I had printed out from James' shortcut. Instead of using the barcode I just used a black sharpie pen and wrote out the NVC number on it, but they excepted the email my husband sent so that way we didn't have to wait.

I did it tonight. Thanks!

Domicile is where you live... Since the 864 is filled out by the USC sponsor, I would assume that it was USA? Unless the question is referring to the benificerary, then it would where he/she lives (Pakistan)... Hope that helps

Sigh...I'm not sure if this is a false RFE or not...it's so confusing..

I just got an e-mail from NVC saying there's missing document: Correspondence instructions, immigrant visa application (DS230 packet), and the IV fee payment, and there's a "checklist letter response" with a barcode on it.

I'm sure my IV fee is paid already, even the NVC payment page showed Paid and I print the cover page already. We didn't have the DS230 packet ready yet...but I'm so confused now. When I mail in our DS230 packet, should I put the IV fee cover page, or this checklist letter response as my cover page?

Sigh, I won't have time to call AVR till Tuesday to figure this out. Why is it so confusing?

Fasse RFE, they are looking for the DS230 package, this RFE is automatically generated if the 864 package is accepted and the 230 is not yet in the system... So I would not stress, just send the 230 ASAP with the printed cover sheet from the website...

It has only been a week for your 3032 e-mail... It has been taking about 2 weeks to be accepted, so just hang tight, I am sure it is OK
