Hello VJ members,

Just wanted to let you know that my husband passed his interview to get CR-1 visa in US Consulate in Jerusalem on September 3, 2009. Everything was very smoothly, the CO just asked a few questions about how did we meet? where and with whom do I live and the name of my mother. Also he asked about his previous marriage, about the kids, he return the original birth certificate and also the extra copy of marriage and divorce certificates. CO said that the visa will be issued in 30 days, asked my husband one more contact phone number and the address. The interview started at 8:30 a.m. and my husband left the consulate around 10 a.m. Thank you all for the support and good luck to everyone with your upcoming interview. :dance:

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

August 20, 2009- Embassy sent as an email attachment, the DS-230, Applicants Statement and Cover letter to Packet 3.

August 20, 2009- Mailed and Emailed request letter to Embassy to extend validity date of petition.

August 25, 2009 - Embassy received request to extend validity letter.

Sept 2, 2009- Embassy confirmed their receipt of the completed DS-230 and Applicants Statement.

October 29, 2009- 2nd Interview date- Visa Approved!

November 4th, 2009- Received Passport with Visa intact!

December 4th, 2009- Fiance arrived in U.S. - MARRIED Dec. 7th!

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay
