I heard also about the plan crash in Jamaica. Waiting to hear that kjenkins86 is with her honey and that everything is ok.

ok sorry for being repetitive, but I just called the NVC again, and talked to another lady and she said that there is no way that it would be in the system yet. That it can take up to 90 days. that if my NAO2 was on the 16th its not possible for it to even be in the system. I'm so confused, cause its not what I see on everyone else time lines. Can someone please tell me how their conversation went with the NVC, or did you wait for a paper in the mail, or am I just confused about something?

That just doesn't make sense.. but keep in mind the people answering the phones at NVC are contract hired operators and really can't say much more than what they see on the screen. One person I talked to told me I would get an email and a letter from NVC, when they file was sent to the consulate, and of course I got nothing.. because they don't send anything.

90 days in the average they have to quote.. I have yet to see anyone actually take that long to get there.. and most of us have been there, and out, within a few days. I think Kayla took a week to get there? Maybe it's delayed a little because of holiday vacations or something. It will NOT take you 90 days.. but with the time of year, it could take longer.

I would call back later tonight.. call a few times tomorrow... keep calling. You will most likely get a different person each time, so no worries that you are going to be driving the same person crazy.. and so what it you are ? This whole process is a strain on all of us :)

Hi!!!! I’m okay thank God, my flight was straight from NY and I got there safe and sound. :thumbs: Thanks for your concern, I feel so special! :star:

And for those who wants to know, I AM working that icepack. :devil: I’m having so much fun with my honey. I wish everyone a happy holiday and just remember that next year we’ll have our honey with us to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s with. (Or whichever holiday you celebrate at this time of the year)
