But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

For the record, he never complains. If I do make something that tastes like ######, I don't give it to him. Good cooks taste the food prior to serving

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

when she make stuff she learned to make years ago, it's always good. the ####### always ends up being some retarded recipe she picked up on the food network. fvckin rachel ray sucks.

My husband likes almost everything I make, but once in awhile he is not fond of it. Yeah it's the new recipe issue sometimes, where even I don't think it turned out very good. He tells me whenever he doesn't like it, I would do the same so I don't see why it's a big deal. Unless the man is really jerky and insulting about it. Saying "this is just ok, not sure I like it" is no big deal to me. But sometimes he changes his mind about what he likes. One year he doesn't like pasta meals and the next he does. That DOES annoy me!! I tell him I am part Italian and we are going to eat it sometimes whether you are in the mood to like it or not! And yes he does eat it anyway. It's hard sometimes bc I make vegetarian dinners, and get sick of the same recipes. He grew up on completely different food. In my opinion, "American" food is very boring compared to Indian food, but making Indian food for every meal is a pain and he likes different kinds of food thankfully.

in england my indian friend made me scrambled eggs, but she just made an omelet and then cut it up. is that normal? i was kinda like ####### this is not scrambled eggs!
Indian scrambled eggs is different from what you guys are used to. But its not really you just make an omelets and cut it up. More like you add onion, bell pepper, carrots, peas and stuff with the egg and also our regular chilli powder, we call it "bhujji"

scrambled-eggs.jpg

The carrots, bell pepper and peas are optional--the chili powder and onions are mandatory (considered an "old reliable" in our home).

no coconut?? What's wrong with coconut?
Coconut is intrinsically high in fats (and composition of coconut oil and palm oil are high in saturates), so something we should avoid...tomato-based gravy can be made nicely by boiling water in which oil has been sprinkled (wait for the water to boil and add onions and tomatoes) which is net low-fat.

(I tried cooking spray, but the flavour doesn't come through).

Well, as P did once complain that the meat I cooked was "tough and tasteless" (I think some of you may remember my comments on that...) I said "tell him to make his own effing food." Of course, we're both actually pretty good cooks...and he doesn't have problems cooking, so it's no biggie usually.

I guess I'm the only one who answered, "burst into tears and lock yourself in the bathroom..."

I made him sit by the door for 10 minutes before I came out. Poor Kenchin.

But he's never actually complained about my cooking, he knows better. I had just made a mistake and somehow melted rice tortillas onto a piece of tinfoil and got hysterical about it all by myself. He likes my cooking. Or he's a really good liar.
