COUPLE DENIED FOR LOOKING ALIKE

I've heard of crazy thing before, but nothing like this one, a friend of mine got their K1 rejected and the consulate mentioned the major factor, THEY LOOK ALIKE.

Here's the exact reply "WORD FOR WORD" from the consulate.

The principal applicant refers to the petitioner as his girlfriend( Even though it's a made up story, he never mentioned that she was his girlfriend, he told them his fiancee is the petitioner) COMBINED WITH THE STRONG FACIAL RESEMBLANCE BETWEEEN THE PETITION AND THE APPLICANT, The consulate officer beleives that this relationship was formed for immigration purposes.

Is that pushing it to say the consulate is over the line if not bother line racist to think all 2 people look alike when they have no ressemblence, come to think to stereotype where some people might think all black people look alike.

If it wasn't for Privacy reason, would love to post their pics so everybody can see how da heck the consulate would come up to that determination.

LOL be interesting to see what happens with my interview. I've had several people think Tim and I look alike. Some people thought I was just having fun by posting a picture of me and my BROTHER!! which is funny, cause I don't even have any brothers!! I had to assure them that no...Tim and I are not related in any way...

If it happened at one of the Indian consulates - let's just say I'm not surprised....

Could there be more to the story - sure, there could be. But having been on the receiving end of additional inquiring to make sure I wasn't being paid off for sponsoring my fiance...let's just say I firmly believe innocent people get wrapped up in "fraud" cases from time to time there.

It's just plainly ridiculous,

Why don't they just order a DNA test, blood test if they have any doubts, they would gladly paid for the test themselves.

1) they got denied for not sufficient proof, then they wrote to NVC, and NVC sent the case back to the consulate, and this time around they didn't even send another interview request,

They had original documents at the consulate from the 1st interview at the consulate, after the 2nd request from NVC then the consulate mailed them all of their original documentation along with the reason for the denial.

The paragraph is straight from the letter the consulate sent, it's a pdf file so I'll ask them if it's ok to scan it black out the personal details and have everybody see how ridiculous these folks can be at time.
