Anyone on VJ ever gone through a divorce? What did it teach you?

IMO, I don't know if it really teaches you anything beyond learning something about yourself. The dynamics of a relationship are so unique and complex to say if I did it all over again, what I would do differently. That said, I had it in my mind when I began dating again, that I wanted to be in a relationship with someone who shares enough of the same common interests and values...and I think a lot of that has to do with sharing similar familial experiences.
