saving evidence for USCIS

Just wondering who in each couple does all the evidence saving. Is it mainly the USC or the 'beneficiary'? Or is it broken down more by gender? Or do they work on it together?

(can you tell I'm procrastinating about something?)

For us, I'm the female, the USC, and I'm the one who generally saves everything.

i saved everything and made multiple photocopies of everything because i don't play around.

i put the fear of Allah in my mister while he was still on the mother continent, thus encouraging him to save and make photocopies of everything, too.

I second this - if I don't specifically say to put it in the immigration folder it will be tossed out. At least he waits for me to come home from work and see the mail before he tosses it in the bin.

Surely most of the stuff people are submitting as evidence are financial in nature, with some extra stuff like travel itineraries and anniversary cards etc. Financial stuff like bank statements and tax returns should be kept anyway, why people throw this stuff out is beyond me.

No more of USCIS for us, but it was me-- female beneficiary, who saved and who ordered what to be saved.

Joe is wonderful guy but he is the least organised one, let it be organising his wallet, paying bills or USCIS, its all me doing it for him for us

I'm the packrat (USC), and I've ended up actually putting the packets together for the most part, but he's careful to save important papers in the right place.

I save everything, USC, the female. I did/do most the work for the entire process as i'm more organized n the more efficient of the two!

Both of us saved everything...if one of us has the originals of something, the other one has the duplicate copies of that, and vice versa... every single document and scrap of paper. And we also saved certain documents electronically.
