Ok I am finally getting ready to submit the petition, however, I was wondering how to package it. Do I shove it all in a manila folder? Do I punch holes and fasten the whole thing with ACCO Fasteners. DO I use paper clips? Do I use a binder? Sorry about all these questions at once Help! ;0)

That's what we did as well. Make sure you have a covering letter atop the package stating what the package includes. Our cheque was at the very top (atop the covering letter).

Well, here's the thing. ANYTHING you do will be immediately taken apart and put into their folders the way they want it. I suggest you use paper clips to attach the related items and then put a binder clip on the whole thing. A cover letter is nice but not needed. Use a personal check to pay and mail it ceritifed, return receipt. Yoiur return receipt is, in effect, your NOA1, though not nearly as fancy. (The NOA1 is just a fancy letter they get around to sending out that says "we got your package")

I used paper clips to keep related pages together, then medium binder clips to keep the "sections" together and then one super large binder clip for the entire mess. No holes and each section had a table of contents sheet.

You may want to look at the USCIS suggestions.

We just stuck ours in the envelope without fastening anything. We did put the passport photos in a clear plastic bag with the name written on the outside. Our petition was approved in 85 days, so we must have done something right!

I'm also in the sort of paperclipped some things together group - I used maybe 5 paperclips - you know, to keep all 4 copies of the biographical info together, keep the pictures attached to the table I made with the dates/places, etc. No holes. No folders. No "ACCO fasteners".

What you should take away from this thread is that it does NOT matter. People do it every which way, and it doesn't seem to change how fast/slow they are approved so long as everything's there!

This is absolutely true. They tear apart your packet, and put it together just how they want it. If you ever got a RFE, they return your packet to you, and you see what they do to it. So save your money, and dont put your papers in pretty folders. Just organize in manila folders, clearly labelled and paper clipped as you wish.

This is exactly what I did. I also washed my hands before handling the petition and duplicate, LOL. I am a total nerd. :)
