Hi Guys,

I know many of you know my father has been very sick. Well today we were told he has liver cancer. It's spread all over his liver and it may have spread other places. The specialist has given him any where from 1 week to 6 months and I'm just numb. I can't believe this is happening. He's my best friend not only my Dad. I can't imagine my life without him in it.

They can not do chemotherapy as his liver would be affected more plus surgery is out of the question at this point.

Just need prayers for our family and good thoughts. I feel like this year has been one hell of a ride for all of us.

Annie

I just said a prayer for him and your family. I hope you are able to spend as many good days as possible with him :).

I wanted to add something.

There were SO many people visiting my dad that it often became crowded at times. I would suggest to you to be selfish with your time with your dad. I feel like I was far too nice in letting people just talk and sit in the room. The last day, I actually made EVERYONE get out...I mean I made them go out in the yard and I spent the sweetest 30 mintues with my dad that I will carry forever.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that when love is strong it stays with you ALWAYS....and I mean ALWAYS.

(F) Saying prayers and keeping you in my thoughts everyday sister friend.

Aw Annie (F)

No words I can offer will express what you really need at this time.

One of the sweetest joys in life is being able to count your parent as your friend ...

We cant imagine what you must be thinking or feeling at this time. Your posts and comments really emphasize how close knit your family is and certainly how much you love & treasure each of them.

I cant imagine losing a parent - I would lose my mind BUT your father - your friend, is still with you & we hope you get the opportunity to enjoy each & every second with him.
