Is she hoping he dies soon so he leaves all of his money to her? I'm sure everyone was thinking the same thing.

of course she is hoping that. all women that marry older men only do it for the money, everybody knows it and it looks like you do to. so why start a thread if it's obvious? it's like me starting a thread saying ''french people don't shower'', what do you think? of course they don't, i know it, you know it, everybody knows it. or how about i start one thread saying ''all women with a tattoo on their lower back are tramps'' of course they are, i know it, you know it, everybody knows it.

French people don't shower?... Really? I never heard that before. I've learnt something!

Hey! I have a tramp stamp......

me too! i had it done when i was 16, didn't know anyone else that had it (between my friends). i chose to do it not only to be the only one back then that had it, but because lower back is the best part of the body for large tattoo designs, plus i can easily hide. In Brazil they're considered art, just like any other tattoo. here in the states they automatically turn you into a tramp.

Mine was more of a mid-life crisis......newly divorced, new life and I wanted to try things that I had never done before. I always wanted a tat but never had the courage. I love mine, it's very beautiful - to me it looks like a small piece of stained glass on my body.

I couldn't imagine marrying an American woman with such an age difference. We just wouldn't have anything in common. I also couldn't imagine waking up beside an old woman every morning the same age as me. Having a younger woman helps keep me young. I might even live a little longer. I would like to see the statistics on that. We also have similar interest without all the hangups. I think a lot of Western women have an issue with age difference. It used to be the norm. Too bad times have changed. I see too many young people marrying right out of high school or college. They have a child and two years later they are divorced. The guy is still in party mode while the woman wants to settle down. Stability is not a bad thing. The way I look at it, we both benefit. I will have a beautiful young wife whose primary goal to take care of me and our family. When I am gone, she will be able to start the next stage of her life a little better off and will be able to take care of her parents as they get old.

I don't have a problem with the age difference; not my relationship, not my problem. I have a problem with some of the attitudes that sometimes go along with it (women are only useful insofar as they're young and hot, men are only useful insofar as they're rich, and my favorite I-believe-marriage-is-forever-but-yuck-old-women (what do they plan to do?) ), but that's not a problem with the age gap in and of itself.

Wow just :wow: to some of the answers out here.

So basically woman is just an asset, as long as she maintains her beauty she will be patted on her back, she will be a good faithful dog no matter who is her master and doesn't matter how many times he kicks her.

Seriously, do you guys really talk to your wife like this-- Hey listen baby, I love those grapes stuck on your chest and I will love you as long as you keep them this way.

What else do you do? Make sure you count how many calories a day is she taking. The guy can get old as much as he wants but NOOOOOOO the woman has to be make sure there are no grey hairs growing.

I will shut up now because I can break some necks today with the kind of MCP attitude some of you are showing. Marry whoever you want to marry but start respecting the other person also, she is no asset, she is your partner for god's sake.

We get these threads from time to time...usually someone thinking outloud what a lot people are thinking when they see couples that seem an odd pair, whether it's age difference, height, weight, attractiveness, etc. We're curious animals. That said, I don't think it really serves any point to talk about it in the open, particularly here where we have a lot of couples. I'm sure most couples here knew what they were getting themselves into, including the stares from strangers.

 Well put!

What the heck, it gives some folks a healthy place to vent  When you fall of your judgmental high-horse on the internet, you break fewer bones

I have a 63 year old buddy that married 23 year old filipina and brought her to the US 2 years ago.

Both of them are VERY happy so far. He's like a kid in a candy store and she's enjoying a life of semi luxury. When he goes belly up her and her family in the Philippines won't have to worry about where the next meal is coming from ever. At the same time he is one HAPPY camper. Bought out our local drugs stores Viagra supply.

Woman have 2 assets : Looks and Sex Appeal

Men have 2 assets : Wealth and Power

Thus making it better to be a man.

As as woman ages she looses her assets, But as a man ages he gains his assets.

It's good to be a Man.........

that's the typical opinion of materialistic subordinate women. interesting how u see men and women.

Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone. It just didn't look believable! She was old enough to be his grandaughter...

But yes you're right, he probably did know what he was getting into and if it makes him feel younger & lives 20 years longer because of it then good for him! ....do ya think she knows she's adding 20 years to his life? lol

I'd be lying if I said that seeing a couple like that wouldn't arouse my curiosity. But so do a lot things - like seeing someone cover head to toe in tattoos and piercings. :)
