Hello All,

My wife took her Oath of Citizenship yesterday in Tampa and is now a U.S. Citizen. Thanks to everyone for all the help over the years...

06/04/09 - called Customer Service - in regards to not receiving bio appointment

06/13/09 - received letter in regards to my inquiry to Customer Service - stating husband had recently missed biometric appointment (never received a notice in mail) - going to be rescheduled - letter dated 06/05/09

06/17/09 - received Notice for biometrics appointment - dated 06/12/09

06/26/09 - Biometrics Appointment - St. Albans, VT

Hello All,

Yea we are done ! == Only need to update with Social Security to get a new card and update her status and get a passport. We are not going to gamble on mailing the Certificate of Citizenship off since it is so hard to replace.. Instead we are going to buy a ticket out of the country and make an appointment at the passport office inside the 2 week windows thus compelling them to issue a passport on the spot an in person...

Also make sure that she update her status with DMV when she renew her driver license.

She may have to bring US Passport. :whistle:

Secondly, I'll be applying for citizenship in about 2 or 3 weeks and Tampa is my local District Office. What is your wife's timeline for the N-400?

February 13, 2006: I-130 filed (US Embassy, Dublin, Ireland).

April 18, 2006: Interview date received.

May 02, 2006: Interview (US Embassy, Dublin, Ireland). Visa approved.

June 14, 2006: Moved to Charlotte, NC.

July 20, 2006: 'Welcome to the United States' letter received.

July 21, 2006: Applied for SSN.

July 29, 2006: SSN received.

September 05, 2006: 2 year Permanent Resident card received.

I-751

April 09, 2008: Mailed I-751 to TSC.

April 15, 2008: Check cashed.

April 16, 2008: Case transferred to VSC.

April 23, 2008: Biometrics appointment letter received.

May 10, 2008: Biometrics appointment.

June 28, 2008: Moved to Clearwater, FL (Filed AR-11 and I-865).
