So, hubby just called and we found out that my interview date at the embassy will be on February 3rd! So happy re that, but at the same time there's soooo many things to sort out for the interview as well as to finalise things here at home.. :) Really cant describe what i feel right now..

As we filed through a lawyer, we dont have exact dates on our timeline but here's a basic one:

Wedding in Malaysia - April 2008

Send our I130 - June 2008

I130 approved - August 2008, on to NVC

Got RFE!!!! - Nov 2008

Finally case completed at NVC - Jan 2, 2009

Interview date - February 3, 2009 at 9 am

Now just have to wait for the letter to arrive before i set up appointment for medical checkup. Surreal. Overjoyed. OMG, i hate interviews! Hope that everything go well from here onwards... Its crazy, my mum has said that things has always been bumpy for me since young.. even with marriage its been long distance and all this waiting rather than clear cut like most people.. :) but im sure it has made me (and most of us here on VJ) of stronger stock ehh?

Good luck!

Thanks Aman & Moosker! :luv: Indeed we feel really blessed that it has so far moved along quite fast (although it sure didnt feel like it, esp when we got the RFE and it took me 2 weeks at least to be able to get the doc necessary).. We found VJ while being stuck with the RFE and feeling so hopeless as its out of my hands.. But when reading and gobbling up other fellow VJers stories and timelines, we realise that what we gone thru is miniscule..

I will definitely try and relax and be positive and work on the papers/docs/evidence for the interview... Goshh, been reading up on VJ re this all this while and hubby even brought more stuff on his last visit, but now when its near im a bit stumped with where to start on putting them together.. I think i will go out and treat myself now and work on it when im a bit calmed down.. hehehe...

Praying that your visa process will speed up too! (F)

Good luck!

Hubby called NVC again last nite and its confirmed that they sked my interview on Feb 3rd. They mailed the letter out to me/hubby/lawyer on Jan 12. Is the letter a Packet 4? I'll have my hubby email the embassy to ask if they have receive our file or not next week (we checked when he was here recently and its not there yet then). Thanks Brian&Mel!!!
