Hello dearest family!

Just got back home and checked my email and the website. Nothing. I'm probably gonna be one of the laggers that for some reason doesn't get approved while people who filed later do. I have had that feeling from the beginning. Has anyone heard from Monica and Isha or mamalou? Did either of them get approved yet? They're from Feb and March.

Congratulations to all of you who got your approvals. I am so happy to see VSC moving! Don't ditch us! Let us know how it goes with NVC now that the holidays are over.

i am also hoping for something this week...it's only fair for the VSC to get back on the ball after this slooooooow holiday season! when i get home from work today, i expect many approval threads started from aug and sept filers! let's go VSC!!!! (and CSC) but mostly VSC!!!!!

aug and sept i dont know try May june first

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Ok...Here's my one observation for the day...Ppl filed in May/June and got touched in 9/27, 9/30 and 10/1 mostly got the approvals. The timeframe stand for them 6-7 months waiting...

I wonder if my hypothesis is correct then ppl of june got touched in first week of october will be getting approvals soon InshaAllahl.............

Narina, try to call USCIS....Waithatter did not get any email I suppose rather called in USCIS...

There has been some approvals for June and a July recently. I think things are finally looking up.

I want to go see my husband at the end of January. It would be so cool to have an approval for him when I get there.

Well i recieved a touch on October 3 and sent out my I130 in early april but filedmy K3 very late so maybe they are going by the k3 date?

i dont know but as long as VSC keeps it up ill be happy!!

Wow ! That is quite a promising start to the New Year ! Between all the approvals that have been reported here and ones that may be yet to be reported (people who haven't found out yet or haven't had a chance to post) I think they have approved more cases in one day than they have in entire months before. If they keep up the pace, it is quite possible that they will be able to bring down the backlog quite rapidly and get VSC in line with CSC in terms of processing speed. Of course that is just my wishful thinking.

Also, all the latest approvals have been late April/ early May filers (going only by I-130 filing date - it doesn't seem that the I-129F filing date matters much). I am yet to see any June approvals unless I missed something (of course that would be very welcome). But if they keep up this pace, they may get to June, July and August even before the end of the month ! More wishful thinking *sigh* but I do hope it comes true ...

I am just wondering about Narina....What happened to Narina then?

Good morning darlings. Well, it's morning and pretty damn sad actually. Today I go back home to the US. :(

Well I'm wondering now if I have a paper NOA2 in my mailbox. I'm getting excited at the idea!

The reason I was thinking we might be late in our appoval is because we filed the 129-F almost 6 weeks after our I-130. It was so stupid. They made us do each application separately and due to my job schedule and the lawyer's schedule, it was delayed by that much. So we'll see.

Sonia, didn't you mention something about a K-3 party in real life? A get together? I would love that. I think I may have even talked to Lisa about it.

Inshallah, once my husband gets here, I'm planning a HUGE party. I have had the idea for a long time now. Even my family is excited about it, having also waited for his arrival. I have one aunt that already planned the menu LOOOOL So I think we should plan something for our K-3 family here. Maybe in the late summer or fall so that it gives time for people to get their spouses over. I will be happy to host it. I can take 50-60 people comfortably...75 if I move some furniture around and open all my guest rooms and put in extra chairs. My family will take up about 20 of those spots and my friends, probably another 30 who will actually be able to make it. What do you all think of the idea?

Well...That's so wonderful thought...I believe we will be inshaAllah in USA by the fall I suppose ...not sure about summer though... an AP and make things worse at the embassy.....

Anyways...for you, I only have best wishes, and pray that you get the hard copy as soon as you get back home....
