I'm so excited for you getting your approval! It's been 141 days for me desparately hoping to get a sign of life from CSC about my fiance visa (NOA1 01/18/06). I was wondering what you meant by "touched". How do you know it's "touched" and where do you find that out?

I'm so freaking excited right now! There is light at the end of the long, dark CSC tunnel! I just got 8, yes, 8 emails saying that our petition for our fiance visa was approved yesterday! Honestly, it's about time! I had recently emailed CSC and they told me not to contact them for another 45 days and I also contacted a senator but hadn't heard anything back. Needless to say, I wasn't really expecting this now but hey, it's really great! I know there are a lot of people still waiting out there - it took 125 days for this approval to come. Hopefully CSC will keep on moving. Best of luck to all and thanks for letting me vent along the way!!!!!!! Have a great day!

07/17/06 NVC fowards app to Naples

08/16/06 Naples receives app (what took so long??)

09/01/06 Naples "processes" application in their computers

09/18/06 Naples emails us an appointment date Oct 2 &3

10/02/06 MEDICAL: Fiance did not bring immunization records, gets all shots for 230Euro, ouch!

10/03/06/ INTERVIEW: Told to wait 2-4 weeks for Administrative Processing (221g) on fingerprints!

12/14/06 Two and a half months pass and Fingerprints results are in and we're given another interview date

12/19/06 INTERVIEW #2: no problems with prints-- K1 VISA ISSUED!!!

02/02/07 My love arrives in Orlando, no temp EAD issued at airport or local USCIS office :(

02/18/07 We get married after exactly 32 months of engagement!

Touched is when you are notified of some action thru email, or update on the web. Little curious as you have NOA1 date in Jan and the last I heard CSC was working on Mar petitions, if you had a RFE or anything that might have held up your NOA2?

You can tell if you've been "touched" by checking your case status online. When the date is updated but the status stays the same you've been touched. Good luck!
