Hi Everyone,

It seems VSC has finally woken up. It took almost a year from submission to approval, I got an approval email this morning. Its off to citizenship in three weeks.

Hang in there everyone and thanks for all your support. You are the best.

November 25, 2008 - AOS & IV Fee Bills rejected; Paid Fees again online (now pending)

November 26, 2008 - AOS & DS-230 packets overnighted to NVC (payments show as paid)

December 16, 2008 - K-3 Visa Interview (now cancelled)

December 2, 2008 - Case complete @ NVC; waiting for interview date to be set

January 16, 2008 - CR-1 Visa Interview

:star: Congratulations, NigerLA for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! :star:

After such a long 11 month wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, NigerLA!

Congratulations!

Finally VSC is moving! We are in New York too and the finger print was taken on Mar 8th but we submitted our package on Jan 26th. Hopefully we will hear some good news on our case soon too. It has been 10.5 months in our case.

Congratulations!.. Out of one line waiting and into the next one! At least after citizenship there won't be anymore of this waiting and filing, spending all that cash!
