OK so who has a good recipe for cooking a New York Strip Steak?

One thing I always do is heat the plates in the oven (kind of like how Ruth's Chris Steakhouse cooks them in the plate).

If you do try this, make sure you put the plates onto a charger plate, not directly on your table or placemat.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I've never really done the whole searing thing,

but I found this product at Amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/George-Foreman-Grill...g/dp/B000R4TQ7W

OK...here's my entire recipe

First, you'll need a baking pan and a wire tray (a cooling tray large enough to stay on top of the baking pan).

Put about a half cup of water into the baking pan, and the wire tray on top.

Set it aside while you marinate your steaks.

I mix all my spices together in a bowl (Canadian Steak Rub, ground pepper,

sea salt, a pinch of ginger, and a pinch of clove) and mix them together with a little red cooking wine.

I then rub the spices onto the steaks, put them in a ziplock bag, and then let them marinate in the fridge

for about 45 minutes to 2 hours. After they're done marinating, rub off all the excess, and throw them in the broiler,

but leave the broiler door slightly open, so the steaks don't bake. After about 5 minutes, flip the steaks over using tongs.

Never stick a fork in it until you're ready to eat. After the flip...put a little butter on the steak.

Cook to your desired temp.

OK..it's official...I'm hungry.

I have 3 excellent reasons to vote for Obama:

1. Metta is voting McCain

2. Kaydee is voting McCain

3. GaryC is voting McCain

There are of course more far right wingnuts on the forum but if you want close-minded, uninformed rhetoric just see what these clowns post.

as garyc hasn't been on vj in quite a while, plus he's stated he's sitting out this election, what's the point of including him in that?

Because every single one of his posts are so far right they make Cheney look liberal... Rogue has been MIA & VW has been well behaved as of late. If I've missed any of the right wingnuts I apologize

Now Charles I saw that you denounced an inappropiate post earlier so kudos to you (the thread got locked so I couldn't give you props).

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I call it the truth... I don't apologize for saying it. I just suggested his views are far to the right... the right wingers here throw around the term "liberal" so much it has lost all meaning & (shockingly) not a peep from Charles in charge.
