Regardless, of what you think of a person it really is not a nice thing to do. Nor is quoting without providing context as to why, when and how the comment was made.

What does VJs TOS have to do with what is posted on another board? Don't they have their own TOS?

Someone(Frances maybe?) just innocently mentioned that maybe it was from BE because SOMETIMES some comments are made by one or the other of our two boards..don't think she meant right now tho. M.

I think pax said what she did, because by reading some comments in this thread (not Frances') it comes across a certain way "VJ rocks, BE sucks" attitude. And then people will assume BE members are one way because of that quote put here about what's tolerated on VJ compared to BE. I never go to BE so I don't really care, just trying to make a point with what pax said too.

that being said, i agree with pax. BE and VJ, while both helpful in the immigration process are like snowflakes in that they are not really the same.

you may be interested to know that many VJ'rs post there under different names as do BE'rs post here under different names ... not to mention that most people here at least read both forums ...

Nice what? I know you moderate over there...and so? The fact is there HAVE been BE/VJ squabbles in the past... could have also said VisaPro or immigrate2us.net or diveintoamerica.com too... and I've been a member on all of those sites and seen it (not on diveintoamerica.com though...). No need to get so defensive.

Don't bash BE. True, it has a different vibe from VJ, but no two websites are alike, and there are many kind and helpful people on BE, just as there are here. Indeed, I've dug up some pretty arcane and interesting info on BE that I couldn't find here. Plus, BE has Mr. Folinsky, and he's always good for being on top of immigration law and reading the fine print.

Thanks for recognizing that there HAVE been comments both ways...neither site is perfect, having gone without it's drama. To be honest I don't have a clue where it is, nor do I care....if people are gonna run to another site to yap about another board...I just think it's silly.

Ok, sorry guys! I know I started this thread and I appologize that I haven't been able to respond as I have been away all week working. Where do I even begin?! When I started this, I did it in anger, frustration, depression...you name it! The past two weeks have been very hard for me with missing my children and wanting to be with them. As most of you know, Terri has left after feeling like we has a whole have judged her, and have given her a bad time. I read on her last thread that she has gone onto a new site and has never mentioned her 4 year old son. Reading that, really brought tears to my eyes. I don't understand how a mother can just cut one child out as if he/she didn't exist. This whole "sophies choice" ###### really got to me. Looking outside the box then looking back in at my actions, I can say that I let her get the better part of me. It was wrong and I do appologise. But to clear things up, it wasn't BE that the comment was made. If anyone really wants to know then please pm me, as I will not post the name in public.

I really do feel for that 4 year old little boy that seems to have been forgotten. I feel like someone needs to speak up for him. This past week, I have had to really clear my head on certain issues that are going on in my own life, so I can assure you, I am back to normal (or as normal as one can be lol). Please forgive me and realise that I too am human and make mistakes. I think for the most part, when I ask for advice or someone tells me that I am wrong, I don't take it the wrong way. I appreciate honesty and always will even if it means hearing the truth about myself and my actions.

Again, I do appologise. The comment that I pasted originally was said, but I handled it all wrong. Sorry!!
