I disagree, I think McCain is bullying, and continues after questions are over. He's under pressure, cause lots of stations said if he looks like a sissy here, he wont gain any ground on polls.

The only thing McCain can seem to say (and be able to defend) is that Iraq is a success (in his view) and its the way to go in the next 4yrs.

by the way - I'm neutral, I hate both candidates :)

Just like the NBC correspondent said right after the debate, I must agree that McCain appeared to be pissed off by Obama - something about Obama definitely bothers McCain. Obama is also quick to say comments hear and there negating McCain's statements regarding Obama's policies. The difference is Obama generally does it with a smile, albeit a sarcastic one.

Congrats I think on the USCIS thing? Dunno what it means.

But I agree on McCain and disagree on Obama. Obama is not a savior or our last hope. He's basically business-as-usual.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Obama came out looking in control, and felt sorry for McCain, he looks tired, and nervous. I can't wait to see palin go at it, like watching a train wreck.

I actually thought it was a good debate. McCain did much better than I expected him to. I didn't see a clear cut winner, more of a draw. I thought Obama would blow him away. But in the end it is politics and no matter who wins half of what they promise will never happen anyway. There are many ways to solve a problem and they each have their own ideas on what to do. In reality, will either way work as planned? Can you cut taxes and still fund all the ideas you propose? If the Bush administration had been successful, how much better would McCain's chances be? Say he was follow the Reagan administration instead. McCain's big liability is his party, and his VP choice. He has it all over Obama in experience. But that doesn't mean that he will be a better President. The country is so sick of the present administration that I think it will be an easy victory for the Democrats.

I kept laughing and was pretty entertained. I had some popcorn and a bullhorn so I could yell at the TV.

You only need to see the 2006 elections to know that.

However, the sad part is there are some casualties that will happen based upon political parties. Like Lincoln Chafee was. He was steamrolled by people upset at Republicans, even though he was more of a Democrat-style voter than even most Democrats.

As much as Democrats mess things up, Republicans tend to find a way to do it at an even more feverish pace.
