So inspired by Betsy I decided to call DOS spoke with Jessica (VERY NICE!!!). Anyways, told me still processing but she said, "I'm not sure why the would schedule an interview for the afternoon." I said, "Well, they process visa's at the exact time they scheduled visas for." She said, "Oh, well it looks like everything is in order and they just want to interview the two of you together."

So maybe it's NOT just a coincidence that our interview is at the same time they process visas????? They only give out visas on Tues & Thurs at 3pm.

Explanation:

Coming through our POE they did not give my wife a I-94 form and they took her ORIGINAL birth certificate I had to get from Germany at the K3 interview. I worked very hard for 4-5 months to get this paper work back and straightened out. I was not able to (always hung up on, put on hold, given no good information/bad information, etc.) so we decided to just get the CR-1 Visa overseas as we had already given an interview data. We resechduled this and they gave us a date 3-4 months later.

At the interview they put us on AP for no reason they can tell us according to them (i called them). At the interview they said all our paper work was fine, we just want to closely look at it again. They also did not want to see any evidence that we offered to show proving our marriage further. They said there is enough proof already...

I am going to contacting my congressman and senator to hopefully get some answers through that channel.

If you are still confused, that is normal... it makes no sense! Typical ratial profiling and discrimination to people from so called "T" (Terrorist) countries. My tiny little wife looks like a threat to national security I guess. She can be pretty snappy sometimes, but I think that is just to me and just because she pregnant.

Do people really come out of this with an approval? Im also worried will my NOA2 expire at the embassy and get returned? The expiration date on it is 10-05-09.

Oh gosh, i know exactly what you mean. When me and my husband went for out appointment just a few days ago, they told us we needed all this #######, so when we took it all they didn't even ask to see them ! i am so sad they also asked for his original birth and marriage certificate !
