On the postive today I have a rainbow post! I am meant to be going shopping to look at bridesmaid dresses with my sister today, Chris and I have decided we are going to have a purple theme for our wedding party... now just to figure out what type of purple lol.... Dark we thinks.

Does this mean everyone can dress as pimps... or the joker? Why so serious? Oh, cause you're getting married... I guess that's a good reason to be serious.... let me tell you about how I got these... scarves on my neck... you see... my father said it was cold outside...

ETA: I'm king.... I demand... purple pimp suit weddings for all!

I see no approvals yesterday for CSC, Chris called them and they were having TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AGAIN, they said we should be approved by the end of january...lets see...i think we all should be approved by the end of this month...have a better day guys

Haha Chris is simply too excited because this means there is the posibility he can wear a crushed purple velet suit and have purple rain for me to walk up the alse.... He couldnt understand why I laughed when he said that.

Chris rang the DC office today to get an appointment to see them, he landed on for next wednesday afternoon. Apparently that was the earliest they had because of the events on Tuesday..... Apparently USCIS gets to close in DC on Thursday because of it.... stupid USCIS!

Anyhow failing we don't get our NOA2 in the mail by next Tuesday we will have some sort of News on Wednesday and hopefully at the very least our NOA1 and Case number so we can stop being so much in the dark.

What number are you calling and is there a VSC equivalent? I get some call center in the south not even in Vermont!

They say "We're working on March" which is total BS!

THe good part is it looks like VSC is in the SOLID AUGUST GROOVE! Only a couple July cases but all the rest are solid August so I think somehting's gonna start cookin soon!

Mia.. you've cracked 150 days, I really hope you get your wish this week.. you're such a huge support to everyone here, it's about time you had good news.

and HD, you're at 141 days now! I know it feels like forever but that's when we were approved, so I'm betting you'll hear something very soon!

I have my fingers crossed for all of you August filers that haven't heard anything!

Mara, do you think you marked 150 days? approximately? since you sent the documents and check was cashed?

We've been lucky to have a fairly easy ride so far, though I think what made it easier was having low expectations.

We told ourselves we would be approved around late December or January, and we were approved on January 2nd, so were within OUR timeline.

It's harder when others are being approved though. All you can do is know that you'll be approved shortly and know that the wait will seem like nothing once that comes.

Actually I'm finding the notion of having to wait 5-6 months to move a lot harder than the entire NOA2 wait.

Gemmie, if i could visit my fiancee or him visit me i would have low expectations too, people are not so depressed for the noa2 but more that they cant be with their loved ones its a matter of point of view

It's Wednesday! and i haven't seen any posts about approvals in this Form. This is getting me worried.

I recieved my NOA1 on 08/30/08. I am one of the last ones; therefore it is important for me that everyone one on this form get their appovals fast. I am really hoping that i get approved before the end of this month.

I keep telling myself that i will not check the USCIS site, but I can't keep away from it. Every morning I wake up with excitement to see that there is no approval. ahhhh....I don't see any approvals at all....where is everyone....where are the approvals.....I hope I don't get stuck in the 6+ months filers .....its 11:24AM maybe i might see an approval before 5pm....hoping..crossing fingers for everyone.....

It would be so much easier if he was living in the state or some close proximity that i can go see himm..this is so frustrating....grrrr...

Hey gumbo992 I am also on 151 Days!!!!! i should get our NOA2 really soon.

I already wrote a letter to my Senator and Congresswoman (last friday) still got no reply .....

I am praying every day to receive find on mi Email Inbox the messege from CRIS
